Stopped into the pub for a couple beers and some appetizers. The pub had a nice atmosphere, featuring an English pub style design, but also incorporating an American-style sports setting. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and pretty attentive, despite the crowd when I was there. They had a good selection of their own beers, as well as many other types of beers on draft, and covered a wide mix of styles. The appetizers that I tried were good, although not particularly memorable. The value seemed appropriate for a brewpub in the city, and I would go again to try some more of their beers.
Cool place in Denver. Nice English pub feel, pub fare and house made beers. They have an infusion option where you can infuse a beer of your choice with one of a number of hops. Gimmicky, but unique and fun to mess with different hop varieties. Service was good, and it’s right next to world of beer Denver. Lots of other options in Denver, but this is worth a try.
Stopped by during CBC week. Nice interior, decent food, and pretty solid beers. They had an obscenely large beer list on that week, but even their core beers were solid. Prices were decent, slightly dimly lit vibe. Would return.
I stopped in recently on a Friday afternoon. Dark, dimly lit, pub with plenty of seating and a fireplace. They had about 15 beers on tap including 3 SMaSH brews, ranging from average to good. The service was good and the value was great. Three 3oz tasters for $3. I will stop in again if I’m in this part of town.

Visited for a late lunch on a Thursday. Bull & Bush was the first place I started hanging out when I moved to Denver in 1995, so it has always had a special place for me. I remember one night the bartender locked my friend and I in until we hit the #1 spot on the trivia game. Good times. The interior is very much English pub, quite dark, with a large bar, table seating, and a nice fireplace area up top. In nicer weather, there is an expansive patio which helps brighten up the joint a bit. There were 8 of their beers on, along with 3 beers available to go in pint bottles. They also do growlers of all of their beers. Service was prompt, food was solid. This is a very “local” feeling place in an area of Denver that really doesn’t have many places like that. Certainly worth checking out.
82 = ★★★½ (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
this place seemed kind of like a time warp. also seems like the kind of place you could probably still smoke in. part pub, dive bar, part midwestern steakhouse, part brewpub. about 20 beers on tap which ranged from terrible to pretty solid. service was very friendly and incredibly welcoming. not sure why, but i liked it.
This is an old timey British pub that was very busy, and also has a lot of house beer. They do flights of three and we ended up with five sets of flights. It turns out that there were 17 beers and the server was nice enough to bring two more. The beers ranged from decent to awful, with the majority of them being in the mediocre range. The barrel aged imperial stout was loaded with acetone flavor. The IPAs were buttery. The pale ale was darker than the amber ale. On the plus side there were one or two good ones. The food was pretty good, or at least what I tried was. I got some kind of southwestern mashed potatoes. They were covered in gravy and peppers. $5, not bad. After 17 samples and 2 orders of the mashed potatoes the tab was only $23. I’d consider coming back for the food, if in the area. Service was very friendly and put up with a bunch of tickers.
Seriously cool British style pub. The minute I walk in I feel transported to another place and time feels like it is standing still when I hangout here. The beer they brew won’t blow you away, by any means, but they still have some solid offerings and a pretty killer cellar list from breweries around the world. The food is great and I love the atmosphere. Great place to grab a beer and hangout or to catch a sporting event. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.
This place has one of the best settings i have ever been to-really dark, British style pub feeling here with 14 taps. Lots to choose from-big ipa’s to sours. However, some of their beer has massive amounts of diacytl, maybe to make it more authentic they do this but regardless of the reason, i hate the big D. However, a few of their beers were outstanding. I really dig the vibe here, just with the beer was slightly better.
