This place is packed on a Tuesday night in the summer, it must be pretty good. Decent beer list, tap and bottles. Service is a little slow but friendly. Good burgers and fries.

A casual, order-at-the-counter restaurant with great burgers and yes, great brews on tap. Most dining is out on patios surrounding this house turned into a restaurant. It can be noisy and crowded, but that just means people want to be there.

right next to where all the races in Davis take place, so a sentimental favorite. Great burgers, and usually a few really nice beers, though at times it’s been pedestrian. They have Pliney as many times as not :)

Had the Bison burger sans mayo with spicy quacamole. And a house imperial brown. Just excellent. Service was attentive - water is serve yourself tho - several inquiries as to my needs. Really nice food and quite a beer selection.

The food here is generally pretty good and they usually have something good on tap. The other week they had a little Pliny the Elder on tap...yum!

Surprised I haven’t rated this place yet. It’s a converted old house, with seating on the porch, and just a little bit on the inside. During the day, you have to order from the register, and at night you can sit down. Awkward. They have about a dozen beers on tap, with Chimay being the only interesting thing. Recently, they added a jockey box with seasonal beers. When I was there last weekend, they had Hairy Eyeball and Torpedo for $5 a pint. They have a mediocre bottle list with maybe 50-100 bottles. Prices are variable. Staff isn’t overly knowledgeable about beer, and THE SINGLE THING THAT PISSES ME OFF ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE FROZEN MUGS THAT THE OWNER INSISTS ON SERVING THE BEER IN. Apparently, the place has a good wine selection. The food is fantastic, and the service is usually very prompt. I just wish they had more interesting beers to fill their tap handles than the common, generic micros.

This is a local favorite for me and my wife. They have a decent tap selection, and a very good bottle list. Pretty heavily favoring Belgian styles, but that’s okay with me. Unfortunately, not that many good stouts available.
