Feels like a dive bar, as it’s rather run-down. Visited in the evening and it was fairly dead. Friendly but nonchalant service. They offer a set flight of 5 ciders for $9 or 8 for $14. Selection was kind of meh, only one house cider, the rest guest taps. Wasn’t too enthralled.

In a rather industrial area, with a patio in a parking lot. Not the most romantic place, but it’s still a temple to cider. The tap list had about 8, I went straight for the house cider, which was really good, cloudy and quite tart. We also tried a fortified perry (sweet and viscous), and a Basque cider (totally funky, musty, and awesome). Didn’t even bother browsing as was not in the market to buy, but could see that the selection was impressive and have never seen a cider bar like this anywhere outside of Somerset. They do have some meads too, and, appropriately, a few nice sounding cheeses.

Amazing place. Small bar and outside seating. About 6 ciders on tap. Maybe 100 bottles of cider, Basque, Pacific North West, English etc. Just an awesome selection for take out or in place consumption. Nothing fancy here, looks like a garage with a bar attached: just how I like it. Just a super cool place without trying to be hip. As MJ said, maybe the best cider place in the country. Very fair prices for most of the bottles.

Bushwhacker is a cidery, bottle shop and bar all in one space. On my visit, the "brewery" (really the equipment room in the back) was not operating, and no house ciders were available to try, but the expansive bottle selection supplemented by 6 drafts gives you access to a lot of different things to sample. Spanish Sidra Natural, Normandy cidre and poiré, a lot of Oregon, Washington, CA, WI and MI ciders. All bottles available to-go or to try at the bar. 3-4 bottles on the chalkboard are available by-the-glass as well. So, something for everyone and a wide selection of rarely-seen imports make this probably the most comprehensive cider bar in the country. Staff was friendly, though seemed more interested and knowledgeable about domestic cider and than the softer and more elegant selections from Normandy. Lastly, with Spanish sidra, you usually find no more than 2 or 3 at any one place, and here you have 6-7 bottles of sidra natural with an additional 3 bottles of Sidra de Asturiana (sparkling/sweet).
