Large brewery tap on 2 levels with long tables. Visited on a Saturday evening so was busy though we managed to find a table upstairs. Beer selection and quality not as good as some other places though food and service were good.
Wow. Tons of engagement parties and villagers drinking large amount of beer cocktails. Nice atmosphere though, a large inside bar on two levels and a bunch of alley tables with lots of nooks and crannies, and even a garage you can drink in to reminisce about the Soviet days. Three of their beers on offer were not really worth drinking and were more likely extract. Just one other craft beer in a bottle. food looked OK. Very cheap.
Best skipped unless you want to peek in for the atmosphere.
2017 review: (4:4:4:7:7:8) Service painfully inefficient. Brandusis *again* not on, that’s the third time. Most customers probably don’t care, as all they want is beer coctails with splashes of syrups in. Sviesus was fizzy cold piss. Juodas wasn’t much better. Really gone downhill. Not worth bothering with, to be honest.
2009 review: (4:8:5:7:7:13) Great staff (at least the guy who served us both days we went there). The house schwartz (Juodas) is a top brew. Food pretty decent (15Lt for a decent main course), but not as good as Transilvania a few doors down.
This was very much a locals pub and was pretty crowded but we sat at the bar and tried all the beers on - only three - yummy porter! and enjoyed the ambience and a chat with an ex-pat! Prices not the lowest we had paid.
Nice brewpub in the Old Town. What to expect from a brewpub?, almost four or five different beer from its portafolio. Only two were available. It was a pity because I didn’t taste the Baltic Porter. Really nice food, any way.

Quiet-ish, dark and atmospheric (some may say dingy, I say Middle Earth charming) brewpub. The beer is the main attraction here, although it doesn’t have enough on to excite the ticker except for the house beers. I enjoyed being here but it may be flavoured by the fact that this is my first trip on the Continent in 15 years, and my first night out at that. Nevertheless one must measure like for like and Buši Trečias, though interesting enough, is far from a destination pub.
Cosy Vilnius brewpub, dimly lit and fairly ’rustic’. I wanted to try their porter but it was off when I visited so I settled for the dark lager which was fine, nothing special. They were showing the 6 nations rugby and there was a fairly obnoxious Irish couple that ruined the vibe a bit, although to be fair they got pretty disdainful looks from everyone else.
nice enough place, though a bit sterile. beers not up to much tbh, didn’t help that we just missed a dark beer, so instead they put on their new ’mocne’ which like most mocne beers was like paintstripper...
