Not much for ambiance, but to me that’s not why I’d go there. They are pretty much the cheapest place, with a great selection. The only drawback is, as has already been mentioned, they don’t really have much in the way of singles. Other than that, you really can’t beat them.
MJames was right about the area. This is not in a very nice place, but I don’t feel that I’m in danger when I drop by after work to pick up some beer. I might feel differently after dark though.
The staff have been very friendly, stopping to talk with me about beers, always in a good mood. Selection is decent. They do carry Aventinus and it is much cheaper here than it is at Joes in Norman. I’m just glad I work somewhat close to this place.

Located near the freeway in central OKC, it’s within walking distance from the Government buildings. Don’t walk around there, however, as the area is not exactly the nicest or safest in town. The beer selection is good for the area, but focuses more on six-packs than they do on singles or 22oz/750mL bottles. I believe the turnover is high, so it should be rare to get old or stale beer from these guys. Their focus is wine, but they keep up with releases fairly well, and their prices are cheaper than most in the area.
