The stars aligned on this one. I had about an hour until I had to grab a shuttle to the airport at Sunday brunch and I managed to grab the last spot at the bar and the food came fast. Made "new friends" with the people on either side of me who encouraged me to get a bloody mary in addition to a beer and work on being more like a local. Everything was good- food, service, selection. A little pricey. Bartender kept up well with a packed house.
Walked over from the hotel tonight with a co-worker. Great ambiance and a rooftop patio. Nice selection of beers, plus offered flights - $12. Food was solid and service was good, though a bit slow considering the place wasn’t packed. A tad high on the pricing, but value is there if you like Belgian beers.
Have been here in late summer. Awesome rooftop patio. Staff helpful and knowledgeable enough, but not around quite enough. When it started getting busy for dinner we were handed our bill (trying to push us out of there basically) For that alone I likely wont go back. The beer list, although large, is uninspired. Lots of Belgian stuff, not much domestic craft of note, and nothing that you can’t get anywhere else. Food was quite good. Expensive, especially the beer.

Great spot for food and beers, we went twice; once for dinner, again for brunch. The pannekoken is outstanding. Great beer list, lots of quality Belgian stuff both on tap and in bottles. Great service both times.
My wife and I stopped in here twice during our stay in Milwaukee ... once late on a Friday night for our last beer of the night, and then on Saturday because we were intrigued enough that we thought we’d try this place for dinner. The place has a sturdy draft list, obviously bent toward the Belgians, and an interesting-looking menu. I think I left a bit let down, however, not because it was bad necessarily, but because the service lacked (they were packed), and the food wasn’t as stellar as we’d let ourselves imagine it might be. Still a good place, particularly if you’re looking for a Belgian-inspired break from the midwestern barrage of "normal" beers in the long list of beer locales in Milwaukee.
Good place for a nice meal and good selection of beer. The wait staff wasn’t too friendly, and not very knowledgeable. Maybe a little too typical. The best thing going for it is the food is good quality and there’s a nice selection of beers to go with it. The service could be improved.
In town for first time, stopped in for lunch. Has some good food and was delighted to find 30 Belgian style beers on draft. I think I died and went to heaven!! They have sell samplers of four 4 oz tasters, nice way to sample Belgians I haven’t had before. They have 4 beers from "lowland brewing" a Belgian brewer brewing for the restaurant group. Tried 3 of the 4 and liked them all. You like Belgian beers ( I love them) you are going to love this place!
As the name suggests this place has quite a large selection of Belgian beers on tap and by the bottle. The bottle list is pretty extensive. Not much in the way of local beer but there's a few on tap. The bar is nice and open. Servers are good if sometimes absent. Food was great. I had some sort of pancake topped with eggs and beer cheese sauce. Dynamite! Solid stop if you're in town.
