Cafe Rose Red ended up having the single best beer list we saw on our trip through Belgium. All kinds of lambics were available along with Westvelteren 12 and different Orval vintages. It's an extensive bottle list with a small, but very well curated tap list. The inside is like drinking in an old house with a ton of roses dangling from the ceiling. The service was great too. Just had the meat and cheese plate but it was really excellent. It was quite busy on our visit, but it still felt chill.
Nearby our hotel, dropped by for a drink with my wife. Nice, quiet atmosphere, roses abundant. Great service, good selection of beers, both the standard stuff and some rarities. Could also order Orval of different ages (6 months, 1 year old, 2 year old). Really enjoyed this place.
This is a nice bar with tables, medium sized bar, and a terrace. Service was quite good especially for Europe. Nice selection of lambic. Prices are mixed some were reasonable other were high. I would go back.
The best place to enjoy your beer in Brugge. Light music, not loud. Relaxing ambience, perfect to have your beer...
Clean place with a bartender that serves perfectly the beers as he loves beer too. Great selection and must visit place if you are in Brugge.
Nice bar not far away from the old town, looks small at the first glance but quite big inside. Stylish decoration, good selection of bottled and draft beers. Light snacks were pretty good. Pleasant service and atmosphere. Must visit.
Visited on a quiet early evening in May. Belgian beer bar ambiance with roses and candles to add a little romance to your brew. The beers I ordered were impeccably poured in proper glassware. The Oude Geuze list had some interesting semi rarities, but most were in 75 cl bottles and expensive.
The roses hanging from the ceiling do add something, but the effect looks better in pictures than in real life. There is a very relaxed atmosphere in here as long as you are holding a beer in your hand. If you’re not then you will be waitressed into submission. It’s an expensive place to buy bottles – expect to pay 6 euros for a new beer and 30-70 for a lambic. I mean you can buy Horals Mega Blend in a bar in London for half the price. Bottle selection was maybe the best in Bruges -
several 3F Vintage and Framboos on the menu, at very high prices. Nice looking place. (66)
