My first stop at CBC, I have wanted to check this place out for a few years now. Large brick and wood space inside with lots of people enjoying themselves, some a little too much. Not as many people outside on the patio, altho if the weather was a little nice I would have joined them out there as it looked awesome. Service was pretty good. At times he just wanted to talk to the locals but I didn’t have to wait too long for my beers. Quality was pretty high. Legit food ingredients, proper glasses, etc. Selection was pretty good but not amazing. Nothing overly rare or interesting, except the sake beer. but a decent array of beers to choose from. I stopped in for dinner so I decided to go with a margarita pizza which was solid, I finished the whole pizza in no time flat. Prices were on par with everywhere else I had been, maybe a touch high but it is a major city. Overall an awesome little brewpub in the heart of the city. I will definitely return when I am in the city.
Visited on 5th October 2017. A really large and busy brewpub towards the centre of Cambridge. It's got 2 vast rooms which are airy and light plus a sizeable patio. It was a nice evening so relaxed outside. A solid list of beers with plenty of different and a couple of set flights made choices hard. Didn't bother with a flight and just had a couple of beers. Quality was ok. Prices and service were solid enough. It's an easy 10 or more rates and a nice enough venue.

I liked it a lot last time I was here, but this time it's not hitting. The beers were all duds, which was the big issue. Malts were a mess, and so was the yeast, like almost unprofessional in that sense. Service was ok, maybe a bit sluggish, but really the downturn in the beer since my last visit (2009) is the big story.
Located somewhere in Cambridge next to a BBQ place. It seems like it's located in the block where Cambridge turns from residential to corporate. Lots of Brick and beams and wood planking which makes it feel like a marketers idea of a brewpub. Of course it's loud and very difficult to hear conversation which makes it the perfect setting for the under 24 crowd. They had 13 on tap but you were only allowed to select from 2 pre-made flights. The food was solid but the fries were weirdly small like I was being served the grandkids of another order of fries. I'm afraid this one's only for the completists.
Large, airy space plus outdoor sitting. Two set flights available. Service was better when the bar sitting was mostly empty, once it filled up it was hard to get bartender’s attention. The beers are competent if unexceptional. Food was average. Flights are unlabeled, based on the menu, but the menu was taken away without asking in the middle of the tasting....
Large industrial style brewpub with 14 of CBC beers on tap and the brewing paraphernalia at the back of the bar, in a very convenient location. Good food menu, knowledgeable staff, nice place to visit overall.
Visited on a friday afternoon. Sat outside. The weather was perfect for it. I had a flight and a pint. There are two flight options. A brewers choice, and a standard flight. Both are set for you. That was a bit of a let down, because there were a few I didn’t get to try that I wanted to try. Prices were at least decent. I would come back again.
Visited May 2016. Stopped by while waiting for Lord Hobo to open. Decent food, brews, and service. Flights and tasters offered. Might be worth a stop if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit...
Showed up on their 26th anniversary, on accident. Cool place with immediate seating. 16 beers on tap and the food was very good. Server was excellent but was slow. It was very busy so I am guessing it was more because of that. Neat little outdoor area with additional taps, heaters, etc. Conveniently located off the MIT T stop.
Cool spot. Interesting taps covering a range of styles including a wild ale and barrel aged stuff and they’re solid beers overall. The bartender was cruisy but service was efficient enough. Happy to pour tasters. I didn’t eat but lunch menu looked good. Cans and growlers stocked in the fridge for takeaway. Outside patio seating for nice days. There’s a neat mural to look over up on the wall too.
