A must visit in Brussles! They got some rare Cantillon for a cheap price at the bar and it is not that pricy to buy some of the more standard bottles to take home. You can also buy souvenirs, cheese and glasses at the shop.
Short walk from the center. It's a shop, a brewery and a museum all in one. Service was good, but nothing special. Selection is limited to Cantillon own bottles (there were max 10 available, maybe less) and about 4 taps/cask. Some harder to get bottles, for example Geuze from 2006 and Lou Pepe Kriek were available. Prices are on the cheap side (75cl Lou Pepes 15€, 75cl 2006 geuze 20€). Takeaway bottles were really cheap, Iris was 8€!
This place is a bit hard to rate. As just a beer place it is not that great, for example both Moeders are far superior choices. As a lambic/beer experience it is amazing and 100% must visit place.
Very difficult to find: this one would’ve been tough to spot without the GPS device. And, by the way, be careful when parking, because despite there being no signs or lines they’ll fine you.
1900 lambic brewery in Anderlecht (Brussels) which you can tour around and that offers a cozy bar and a gift shop. Selection is only Cantillon, and definitely NOT all Cantillon (no retired lambics, aged wonders or special editions.) Shop is a little pricey, to be honest. But -hey! This is Cantillon, so it’s certainly worth it if you love beer!
Fantastic place and realistically probably the only opportunity you’ll get to taste some of the rarer Cantillon beers. Worth going with a group so you can work through a few 750ml bottles which are sold at very fair prices.
Such an excellent place with outstanding Lambics. There are not so many available beers, but every beer is really a masterpiece. The bottles are only 750ml, so you need a company to enjoy several beers. The self guided tour is nice, and you also get the Jonge Lambic when you finish it.
Great place for Lambics fans. We were lucky as many bottles were available for drinking inside. Coming as a large group is an advantage, since the prices for 0.75l bottles are high, so sharing is recommended. Unfortunately not many beers are available to take. Nice self guided tour. Must a visit.
I went there a long time ago with Cico, I went back to Brussels but I never took the time to go back. It was a really nice experience, we came just like normal visitors, even though the atmosphere and the experience were just really interesting, For a beerhunter, it is a place that you really have to visit, in this crazy city of Brussels, the area is a bit on the move.
