To be fair, I don’t like Irish pubs, so it may be hard for me to be completely objective. Kind of a classic Irish atmosphere, well decorated. Staff was quick and friendly. The food looked kind of frightening, a lot of stuff going through a microwave and a toaster oven. The beer was not well brewed and the pint I had here was the most expensive I had all night.

Hadn’t planned to stop here, but our walking path happened to take us by, so had to stop in. The place was nearly empty a peak dinner time on a holiday Friday. We didn’t stay long, but I got a sense of a place with a bit of an identity crisis. Clearly festooned as a neighborhood Irish pub with a staff eager to please. But the disconnect between the stacks of Hamm’s cans in the corner alongside a small list of house beers (which generally weren’t that good) is incongruent and probably scares away customers in either category. With some sturdy craft brewpubs steps away, I wouldn’t recommend hard core beer geeks pick this one. (Brewery #650)

Nice smaller Irish pub. Had two house beers on tap including a Flemish Red, with some guest taps. Usually have live music, not tonight as the band didn’t show. Bartender was very friendly and knowledge. Nice place to hang out.

Only have had their house beers there but have always been happy. Had a couple of very good IPAs last winter to warm myself in the always freezing Duluth, MN.

Visited here on Nov. 17, 2011. Awesome Irish vibe - dark, with flags hanging from the ceiling. Had fiddle players. Server seemed a bit confused, but I ended up getting a flight of 6 beers. Also had a Chicago beef sandwich which was killer. That all came to about 12 bucks, which was a good deal.
