I’m a bit in mixed emotions about this place. The bar owner seemed a bit pretentious the first time I met him. You are apparently not allowed to have more Belgian beers than he has had nor are you allowed to know anything about Catalan beer he doesn’t know - but I did and the argumentation arose from simple questions. Anyhow, a younger female staff person has always been helpful when I visited. Nice ambience with lot of local coming in for a good beer. They keep correct glassware in a fridge...Very good selection of Catalan beer to go. The place has or used to have two beers brewed at De Proef. One of them was still in stock last time I visited. Despite everything less positive - a sure place to return to each time in Barcelona. Neighbourhood is a bit strange later in the evening. Not too far from Camp Nou.
If you look only for some good beers, this is the place, but you feel like a stranger here, maybe it was one of the best but not now, it’s far from the center of the city, there’s a parking not so far, but it’s really small, and the atmosphere is not what I expected.
Could be a great place but has issues with cleanliness and service. A real dive and it ’s a shame because they have some good beers. The bathroom has no seat cover and it looks like the place has not been cleaned since it opened.
