Only place that was opened around 3 p.m. mid August in the neighbourhood (others if they were not closed for summer holidays, were opening after 6 p.m.). Of course, there were not many people inside...but there were some interesting beers (unfortunately British, not Spanish). With drinks, you always get snacks and after few turns even mini burgers for free (let’s say some sort of tapas). Inside typical British pub interior, quite cosy place for few beers.

Street with many beer bars. This place has that classic feeling. Clean commodities and normal service.
They don’t open the beer in front of you (in fact they bring the beer already served and you miss part of the charm, for me that is a "no no").
Huge ammount of different beers, recommendations and nice food to share.
I loved the previous Oldenburg, just around the corner: small, cozy, full of beers and run by very special people. Now it’s bigger, commoner, still has many different beers (but it’s not the same old huge - huge beer menu it used to be) and is run by nice people. So, all in all, still a place to go -beerwise, in Madrid; but not quite the same.
