Rerate Have moved down the street since I last visited and shrunk in size, Just an ordinary liquor store now with a few regional bombers and some imports. Original 60 Visited here in August ’12 - have actually had numerous beers from here as my wife always stops by here when she is in PC Beach. Wide open layout with not a lot of decor, has kind of a warehouse feel to it. Seem to have more imports than American micros. No singles that I could see. Have about 10 beers on tap - would have partaken - but had a two hour drive ahead of me. Did not blow me away with their selection, but then again my wife had already picked up almost everything I had not had on previous visits. Probably the best selection in PC, worth a visit if in the area.
Been a few times now, but eating May 2017 after another visit. I hit this location once or twice a year because of gigs. Good place, similar to the other Chan’s, including a Craft Bar next door. Great beer selection for the area. The Chan’s in Destin has way more, but this place still has a ton of good stuff. Worth a stop if in the area!
Been to the one in Destin - so I looked this up while at the beach in PC for a weekend. Pretty cool - 10 or so quality taps with growlers to go. You can drink a pint while browsing a decent amount of bottles (good german selection) - standard crafts that we get in Tally - but has to be best selection in town.
with out a doubt the best selection in the area. Staff is cool and hosts a beer tasting every Wends. starting at 6. On Tuesdays locals gather at 6 and bring one beer a piece for a nice beer chat/tasting from 6-9. They just added a 12 tap setup and rotate some nice beers on it so you can drink while you shop. The only downfall I have with this place is that bottles are slightly higher in price than other places in the city.
A pretty good selection of beers from DFH and others. Quite a bit smaller than other Chans but you will find something good to drink. A little on the expensive side. $10 DFH WWS, $10 DFH Raison D’Extra, etc.
Stop by this place while on vacation as this was the highest rated in all of PCB. I had higher expectations. The shelfs were about 70% imports, but most of those were quite dusty and I didn’t feel like taken a stab at a beer when it could be 3 years old. The coolers with not even close to full and most of the domestics were pedestrian. The highlight was being able to drink a fresh Sculpin with walking around. In the end, I would just suggest bringing your own beer with you while on vacation in PCB. Staff was super nice though.
Was here over New Year’s. Large selection. The biggest selection of DFH I’ve seen anywhere. They had a sign up that they now carry Stone so I guess it’s new to them and had about 5 different ones on hand when I was there. Large selection of Belgium’s and German beers. Very friendly and help full staff. As I was leaving I saw a sign in the window that they have beer tastings every Wednesday evening for $4 but was unable to partake in this.
I consider this my HOME beer store. I enjoy sharing beers with the guys as much as buying beers from them. Sure, there are other places in PC to get craft beer, but why go anywhere that doesn’t have a bald-headed monkey serving Southern Tier ON TAP!
Used to be pretty good, but now that the old staff has been removed it’s sorta going down hill quickly. If you need to grab a decent brew when heading out of town then it’s worth a quick stop. The taplist is hit/miss, but this place has lost serious ground to Qwiker Liquor.
