This spot was nice. Lots of bottles for there or takeaway, decent tap list but prices seemed high. They have daily food trucks outside and I took up the biscuit truck quite well. I’d come here again but they are pretty far north of seattle.

Lively, almost chaotic place on a Friday night. Convenience store conversion with craploads of bottles to be had for a fair corking fee and 40ish taps. Ambience was all over the place, from nerds like me to little kids and dogs. Had fun, but the family side of it made it hard to want to stay too long.

What a great spot! Glad to finally visit. Strange location, but cool. Extensive bottle selection, quite a few things (mostly Pac NW locals) I hadn’t seen in Seattle before, plus plenty of fancier specials and imports. Even random things like Tusker from Kenya. But I’ll stay for the great tap list, which they’ll serve in half-pints. All available for growlers (and half growlers). Food trucks park out front daily, which is very cool. Great spot, worth a special trip if you’re in town, and wish it was in my neighborhood.

A beer mecca that’s not too centrally located. Rustic place with tons and tons of fridges. Taps are mostly local - the taplist was not too amazing, though, while I was there, since I had been ticking locals already. The bottle selection is just amazing, especially in terms of US brews. Also, while they officially only do flights of IPAs and Ciders, you can still get 4oz pours of any beer on tap. An absolute must in Seattle.

This former grocery store has turned into a great neighborhood pub and beer shop with locals of the Greenwood area in the north of Seattle bringing the family along for an evening beer. Very nice atmosphere with an outdoor seating area. 38 taps with beer from all over the Pacific NW, as well as beer from more remote states (such as Avery The Czar). Oh, and thousands of bottled beer. This is a "corner" store, market-type place. They have food items, you know, munching-type shit like chips, and beef jerky. They also have ice cream, and incense. One thing they do have that is relevant to this site is a pretty damn good beer selection. I’ve seen things here that I haven’t seen anywhere else in Seattle. The place isn’t trying to be pretentious, and the owner (?) was really nice and asked us if we had any questions. I never have questions, but the fact that he offered to answer the questions I didn’t have, was nice. Anyways, the pricing here is a bit tricky. I saw some things that were quite a deal, and other things that were not so much of a deal. The markups weren’t that bad, but on something like North Coast Old Stock Cellar Reserve the price was $27.99 instead of $25.99, for example. With that being said, you just have to watch your ass so you don’t over spend on something that is cheaper, that may be closer to you. Great place because they offer even the cheap shit, so when I move closer to area I know where I’m going.

Top of the list beer bar. 50 taps with tons of local and hard to find beers. Basically serve yourself and go sit. Huge bottle selection too. Chill. No food but trucks available. Highly recommended.

Came here on a Saturday night. Not overly busy, weird little convenience store lined with 40+ beer coolers and 42 beers on tap. Busy enough place that in my 4 hours there 10ish new taps were put on as other kegs kicked. Insane selection from local and regional breweries. World class offerings, rare beers and ciders. Truly an amazing amazing selection. 1000+ refrigerated bottles available for take away or on premise consumption. Had chips and stuff as well as some really awesome looking ice cream. Indoor and outdoor seating, doges everywhere. Food truck was there this night as well. Cheap flights of hoppy stuff--$6 for 4 x 4oz pours. Ciders, stouts, etc available. "High end" flights were $14 for 4 x 4oz pours but featured some legitimately good/great/rare beers. Cool vibe to the place. Local, dingy, dirty and amazing.

I’m surprised I never took notes on this place. Located in Greenwood, walking distance from Naked City and Flying Bike. I frequent this place because of the always interesting lineup of events, as well as it being hard to go wrong with 40+ taps. Flights available, as well as partial pours. It’s like a full bottle shop inside of a mini mart like place. Basically you can enjoy your beer with a Big Grab of chips and some candy gummy sharks, if that’s your thing. Excellent bottle selection, featuring bottles that I have only seen there. Always a great stop.

I don’t get why this place is so popular personally. If you aren’t walking or biking, parking can be a pain in the ass. The store seems cluttered with items for sale, often with beer stored in less than desirable conditions. Draft selection is usually pretty solid, but prices are on the high side (same with the bottles), and the glassware sucks (enough with mason jars). I guess the idea behind the store works in a neighborhood where parents don’t have a ton of options to grab a beer and bring their kids in. For me, I would rather not enjoy my beer in such an environment. Probably worth a stop for an out of towner who is in the area, but being a local this isn’t a place I would frequent.
