Everything here is in singles. This is probably the best part about this place. You can grab beers that you’d be afraid to invest in a 4-pack without hesitating, and the ’singles premium’ you see in a lot of places isn’t bad here. There are many beers that are cheaper per bottle than in a full pack at other stores. They don’t have any macros, which is great, because it’s a small joint. Every square foot of the beer space is devoted to craft beer. The service is fantastic, these guys really know their beer. Great place.
I completely agree with previous post (see below)- there is very few things i can add. It is a very nice and clean store with great service but it can not compete with Holiday Markets selection and turnover of beers-I bet it is bad for their business, but the store is so nice, I would go there again.

The ambiance is pretty cool, since it is like you are in a cellar. A little easy to miss due to location, so pay attention. Selection is better than average, but prices are slightly above average. Since everything is in singles, it makes trying a lot of different beers very easy. Altogether pretty good.

Stopped in while in Detroit for business. Small place but in brand new building with small beer selection but geared to the beer geek. Every beer that is in six packs is also available as singles which is awesome. Picked up 5 singes of quality brew. They dont carry any macro brews so even though they don’t have a huge selection they make up with all qualtiy beers. Service was great and would be my go to store if I lived in Detroit.
Revisted store last week while in Royal Oak. Nice looking store but Still not family friendly, no shopping carts or decent room for strollers. They do have elevator but it is small. Had to use stairs. Most of beer sold in singles but if you are a 4 or 6 pack buyer other places are cheaper. Parking is a mess had to back up to leave parking lot.
A very small store with an outstanding selection of beer. The sign says 150 beers available and it seems accurate. But all 150 are outstanding beers. A great, concise wine selection as well. The service is fantastic, although the hours are kind of horrific. They close at 5pm Sat and Sunday.

Look for directions on the website. There wa construction at the time which meant a little confusion to a first-timer. A better than average place to buy beer, with a BA working here. Other great features are: the ability to buy singles; choice of outside the fridge beer; some harder to find beers carried; lots of parking; and reasonable prices compared to say New York State and Premier in particular. Putnam had a couple of last bottles of stuff put aside for someone who would appreciate them, and I do. Merci! It was very good to be able to run a chat with a very knowledgeable person, and he was able to carry on a wine conversation at the same time. This is akin to writing with both hands-at the same time.
Small place but well lit and an excellent slection. Founs some nice stuff there that I haven’t found anywhere else around here. I didn’t have a chance to talk to the staff but they were courteous and asked me several times if I needed any help. Nice place, I will definately be bcak there many more times!
This is the store you want to go to if you are looking for that rare beer find. The guys are friendly and very helpful. They even ordered me my favorite beer that no one in the area has anymore. I highly recommend them!!!

Great Belgian selection, with a nice attention to detail and a very friendly staff. Light lighting and a 60-65 degree temperature is what I liked so much about this place. The beer selection was great, with an emphasis on imports, but a nice selection of American craft as well. I was hoping to find some Founder’s bottles here, like Black Rye, Impy and Devil’s Dancer, but they didn’t have it. That’s my only complaint.
Nice place, with a good selection that is constantly improving. Every time I go back there they have got something new. Fairly priced. Nice staff that will walk the store with you and comment on anything you ask.
