We spent a few very pleasant hours at Community Beer Works. There a couple of tables and a counter with a high top which makes good use of some slate found in the back yard. Itís a take-us-as-you find-us kind of place and exceptionally welcoming and friendly (thank you Rudybob!). Well worth a visit. (Visited 3 November 2012).

Have visited on several occasions and is now on my "must visit" list when Iím in town. (I love CBW beers so maybe Iím biased, but there it is.) You can sample their beers here and go home with growlers or mini-growlers. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very passionate about what they do. Definitely worth the visit. This is a working brewery - has a nice little bar area off to one side. A solid selection of stuff from light cream ales all the way up to some killer barley wines. Knowledgeable and passionate folks behind the bar and the brewery. I really dig their pale ales but you canít go wrong with most of the selections. You need to come here if youíre in Buffalo.

A garage with a bar, this is a small working taproom. Samples in plastic and growlers to go. Sparse and basic but passionate staff. Great beer and how many they have on tap varies. Go for the beer, but it will be a quick trip.

Classic small (nano?) brewery with up to 10 taps now, expanding into single hop IPAs and stouts. Their standard IPA is worth the trip alone. They will fill whole and half growlers, which can be purchased on site along with some cool swag.

Stopped her on Brew Tours í13í Buffalo. The place is a functional brewery with a tasting room to the side. The man pouring was quite friendly and hospitable. After sampling the beer he gave us a little tour. Enjoyable time with great beer.

OK. This is big garage converted into small brewery, Its look is quiet basic but the aroma of brewing beer makes it for it. The crew is made up of pure beer enthusiasts. They love Buffalo and you can see this. Around 7 beers on tap. Berliner was great but I would like to see more variety. 10 $ for small growler is super deal , after all you are getting best beer of Buffalo.

Various visits. The brewery is pretty small, and the grand tour takes about 30 second. Okay a little more than that ;) Main reason to go is to sample their beers and get some growlers filled. They normally have 64oz and 32oz growlers available to buy, or you can bring your own. The beers are all pretty solid.

A microcosm of a larger brewery, in a central location in Buffalo off downtown.Worth a stop if you are in the area. A half dozen beers to sample, this is a growler fill station. Still nano, they are taking this place to micro levels. I liked the summer stout the best, partly due to less carbonation.

All of the guys Iíve ever talked to at or from Community Beer Works were totally personable and great to talk to. They donít have a huge variety of beers yet, but their regulars are all great, and itís always exciting when they come out with a new one. Stop by, grab a growler, and support local breweries!
