Excellent beer bar in central Melbourne, well presented menu with loads of local, NZ and international beers, price range is about on par with trendy(ish) bars in the city. $9 for a pint of the beast was a good deal though imo. The tap range is large, covering a lot of German and Belgian beers... staff, although busy were very friendly and actually started conversation about beers when you order something slightly different. Didnt eat. The crowd is trendy and young. Great layout and music too.
A fairly central location but it took me a while to find the place. Not every bar is visible from the street. It’s on the first floor of Curtin house! A spacious bar and restaurant looking rather like an old warehouse inside. A large tap sealtion but nothing of any real note. Plenty of Aussie ticks though. The bottle list was huge, but again, not much that was particularly inspiring. Great service and working wifi. Rather busy tho on a Thursday night with a rather boisterous younger criowd.... but everywhere I go these days the crowd is young. I suppose that says something about me!
I visited this place a couple of years ago and then again in June 2016. Maybe it’s just me, but the selection seemed a lot more limited this time around. Disappointing. On tap, there were only a couple of feasible options, amongst many taps of generic dross. There are definitely better, more crafty, places in Melbourne, but if you want to have a beer or two with some good Thai food place, this would still be a good bet.
A spacious venue that’s tucked away upstairs. Quite a number of taps, though some devoted to more generic offerings with a few more interesting selections scattered throughout. On the pricier side but friendly service and good food.
Stopped by here a couple of times over a weekend trip to Melbourne - once when it was packed out and once when quiet. It has a nice vibe either way - but service when busy was very slow. They have a huge venue and need to ensure appropriate staffing at busy times. The beer range was good (but not exceptional given the number of taps on offer) and the Thai food is top notch. All in all worth a visit when in Melbourne but be prepared for a long wait at busy times.

Atmosphere is great - Plenty of people. Staff are knowledgeable and I like that they use the Clipp app for tabs. Food that we had was good - if a tad expensive for what it was. Beer list is excellent as is location. Will be back.
Pretty cool place. Pretty sophisticated and up market. Never dined here but the drinks list has always been good and the service has always been very friendly. A good place to grab a drink on a Sunday and maybe head to the rooftop bar afterwards
Nice vibe in here. But it’s a little hard to tell if it’s a bar a restaurant. We treated it as a bar though. Plenty of stuff on tap to choose from including a cookie colab with bridge road which was pretty cool. Some more mediocre taps but there was always a few shining lights in there. Quite suave sort of place. Service was great. The girl behind the bar knew her stuff and was very friendly too. Definitely worth visiting again
Beautiful room. Great service. Lovely food. Alwasy at least one or two things interesting on the taps, however much of it is taken up with lager that essentially all do the same job. Don’t see the need to have Thunder Road and Boags and Carlton and Stella and Kirin and Budvar and Bitburger and Trumer. Selection and pricing let down and otherwise amazing venue.
