Some people are awful hard to please...Coopersmith’s is a great place with excellent food at good prices, nice beers including a great cask India, and cute friendly waitresses. What more do you want?

We’ve been coming to Coopersmiths for 22+ years. It’s one of our Ft. Collins favorites. Both the food and beer are consistently good. Both my wife and I love the Not Brown Ale. (Lighter body, mildly sweet with just enough hops to let the caramel and coffee flavors of the roasted malts come through.) We’ve never found any beer to compare to Not Brown Ale.

This place is confusing, we didn’t understand the 2 bars/restaurants in one location vibe. Why not just make one big place? The service was incredibly slow; we sat for 15 min. before anyone waited on us. We had to get my first round from the bar even though we had a table, but they gave it to us free because they were so slow. That was a nice touch. Very generic looking joint. About 17 taps, all house beer, the number was impressive, but the beer was average. Low ABV please the masses type stuff, not taking any risks. The food was good and they had a decent sized menu, but again they are playing it too safe. Kinda pricey for the overall quality. Skip this place; you can do better in Fort Collins, and certainly in other places in CO.

A rather nice resturant and brewing complex. Visited for lunch, it wasn’t busy but I bet this place gets hopping at night with the resturant and pool hall. Really wasn’t impressed with the beer and the food was just alright. I would opt for more interesting options upon my return to Fort Collins.

A nice place, I sat in the Pub side. Good service. The beer I had was only average. The steak I had was great. Decent prices.

This is a really nice, medium sized brewpub in downtown Fort Collins. Good beers and a great atmosphere.

First stop on our visit to Ft. Collins. Visited with Aaron and Bobby. About 15 beers on tap along with some craft sodas. Two sides to the brewpub, we sat in the pub side. Really large location. Service was quick, very quick. The burgers were quite good. Beers, on the other hand, were not. Not really a great beer place, but it’s right in the downtown area, so it’w worth a stop.

Visited October 4, 2013.

Stopped here for dinner with womencantsail and adnielsen. This place is split into two sides, one with some pool tables and the other with the bar and some tables. This place surprised me in a number of ways. The place is very large, they have a lot of taps, and apparently they’ve been around for a long time. We got samples of almost everything and half pints of the ones they wouldn’t sell samples of. They had a beer labeled 13 year old barleywine. The server confirmed that it really was that old. Here in the database there is a beer called the Cache that was entered a few years ago that was already 12 years old. Over all the beers weren’t very good but the food was good as was the atmosphere.

Cool Ft. Collins place but can be touristy at times. Good beer, but there are so many choices in the area.

Coopersmiths is a FoCo staple and for good reason. They have something for everyone. They have built a devoted customer following spanning generations and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down. The beer selection is a little lacking for my taste, but they make up for this in the variety and quality of their food.
