Sunday evening 22nd Jan 2017: my son, wife and I were the only customers. Basic on ground level, minimalist furniture with standing the best option, upstairs more of a lounge feel. Bored staff but friendly enough, beer selection was fine and mostly new to me. Got some interesting rates and left happy. Our mini crawl around Brixton was fun and safe: will do again now my son has moved ’South of the River’ once more.
Visited the 11th January 2017 - Near to Brixton station on a quiet street. This place looks definitely different compare to the other Craft Beer Co across London, and I like it. Quiet small place with a solid beer selection. Service is friendly and professional. Upstairs you will find more place but I didn’t check. Good to visit. Snack food is available but I didn’t try.

Craft Beer Co Brixton was stop number three on our Brixton and Brockwell Park walk, though to be fair we had just finished the walk. We arrived around 3’o’ clock but the pub was already quite busy. It’s located opposite the railway arches and close to Brixton railway station and Brixton Road (A23) its also just around the corner from a JDW and also very close to the Brixton Academy. However from a beery perspective it’s between London Beer Lab and Brixton Brewery.
Its a rather strange shaped affair, as you enter the bar is ahead but the pub already appears to be narrowing by this point, toilets (ladies) are just beyond here and the gents are upstairs along with some further ladies loos. There is also some furthering seating up here though I never really explored. There are refrigerators built into the front of the bar, I never noticed these on our first visit to the bar. We sat at a seat by the window, Loz was able to look out and saw lots going on including all of the Levellers walking past (we were off to see them tonight). We got chatting to some fellow gig goers, like us they were as excited by seeing Ferocious Dog as the Levellers.
The beer choice was wide ranging and yet very little jumped out at me, I even opted for a bottle for the next round. Loz was a big, big fan of the Brixton Atlantic APA and between here and Brixton Brewery Tap (our next stop) she’d had three halves. The staff seemed fine enough and service was pretty swift. We liked it here, ok it’s far from my favourite Craft but it’s a decent spot and well located.
Visited on a sunday afternoon. Small bar with just a couple of industrial tables. Small patio outside, but you have to sit next to drug addicts and homeless people. Glad I didnt visit in the evening or night, must be horrible. Dodgy and filthy part of town. Selection was ok, but similar can be found in other Craft Beer Cos. Wouldnt revisit.

Big fan of the group. This one seems a bit slack. Keg selection has been limited by out of order taps for several months. Whatever the problem, they have had time to sort it and haven’t. What kegs they have are unadventurous. Since they opened, Brixton has become an ever bigger draw for food and drink; they are not really contributing to this. It seems they are content to rest on their past reputation and that of CBC bars elsewhere.
Situated a few mins from Brixton tube station this is probably the smalllest of the London Craft beer Emporia.
A small bar has pulls on the bottom and keg taps along the top and a small seating area inside and out. Upstairs there are more tables and seating. Visited on a busy Saturday evening in December managed to get a seat. Decent range of beer in good condition as ever.
Good place and an improvement on Brixton’s offerings
Small one room bar off Brixton market. It lacks the charm and comfort of other Craft bars, and on my visit just after opening the two staff looked disinterested and kept to themselves. However, beer selection was good and a similar range to what to expect at the sibling pubs. Had an interesting beetroot Berliner Weisse from Evil Twin here. A good view of the hustle and bustle of market days outside.

Very nice place with very good selection of brews both on tap and bottled. Good service, good music. A bit small in space thoug, but the good beer can make you forget that.
