Large over trendy space that really is looking for the downtown business crowd and trendy evening crowd. Service is variable but the bar ensures someone who knows something. Selection is huge but not very interesting. Food is overprices and variable in quality. This is just another in the chain of too many taps and not enough quality. Preset flights that are not very interesting.

It’s quite a large space with a huge bar. Lots of beers on tap but nothing too rare, still a good spot to get some of the more common stouts and IPAs from Canada. Decent food (I had a cheese board) though not exceptional, staff were all young and reasonably friendly. Seemed to be quite busy even for a sunday night.

2015-06-03. The beer menu on the website is significantly different from what is actually on tap. I sat at the end of the large bar around 430 or so on a Wednesday night. Bartenders were friendly, and generally fairly knowledgeable about the beers. It is a huge space bordering on cavernous. Patio upstairs is probably nice but I’m hiding from the sun. The wee little shelf by the toilet is a classy touch. Very nice washrooms. My maple bacon wings ($5 happy hour special I think?) were tasty but just a touch bland on their own, but the flavour worked nicely with ranch dressing on the side.(Which reminds me - $1 extra for ranch dressing with my wings? Really??? I should have clued in based on the bartenders tone when he asked if I wanted some. Come on.) No samples (or even half pints?) but free tasters so you can at least try before you buy. (Sorry, they have a weekly taster try but that’s kind of useless if they aren’t the beers you want to try.) It grows on me but the crowd got busy even on a Wednesday night, I assume it must get crazy on weekends. Tap list was lengthy, and I found a decent number of new to me offerings with some solid choices in a range of styles. Prices are surprisingly reasonable compared to Toronto but feels expensive since I don’t actually want full pints. In some ways I prefer the decor and setup to Beer Revolution but the sheer size of the place is slightly daunting.

Certainly a bit antisceptic chain feel. Canada’s answer to yardhouse. Lots of choice but always have to wonder about the quality of the lines. Still, lots here. Service prompt andiveky spot on a Tuesday night.

A lovely ambience to the room. Basement level has washrooms and a visible keg room. Has an upper level bar and a gorgeous rooftop patio. Beer selection was a mixed bag, over 100 taps, but only a few that will be of real interest to a beer hunter, there are some hidden gems on the beer list if you look hard enough (DDC Aphrodisiaque for example). Might be good if you are interested in local ticks. Small rotating list which was almost completely useless - every time we tried to order from it the beers were not on. Food is good, usual pub fare done well, wings, burgers etc. They also do a beer cocktail program and offer flights. Overall, a good place, but not the most interesting place selection wise. I will probably revisit.

Love the look of the place and like how it’s spread over 4 levels. Big selection of beer that has a lot of basic stuff or just popular craft beers but the rotation list is pretty long and has some more complex beers on it. Staff was really good their knowledge of beer variaed from person to person but it seemed that they have a program to train their servers and educated them. Good representation of local beers on tap too. Be nice to see them come up with more specials as it’s a bit pricey here.

Edmonton’s latest beer mecca pub. Was not super impressed by the tap list, a lot of entry level stuff, but rotationals and weekly taster trays are of interest. Food was good and service was A+, we’ll see if it keeps up. Bit pricey compared to Underground and Beer Rev. Would love them to do 8oz or equivalent size to appeal to more beer geeks.
