This place has got a lot better since previous reviews. I liked this place and it is super local, though now there is tons of English signs and English menu, though don’t know if anyone speaks English. About 10 beers on tap and overall quality was decent - no misses amongst the beers I tried. Cheap as can be with 300 yen for a 250-300ml glass. Food was decent. Atmosphere is simple. Popular place. Worth seeking out - kinda.

One of the early independent brewpubs in the Tokyo region, located in a remote quiet neighborhood on the Odakyu line. Looks like an old wooden canteen, local crowd. Most of their beers are fairly light, muddy and pretty mediocre overall. Best prices I’ve seen in the region starting from 300 yen a mug. 500ml bottles available for takeout. Cheap japanese tapas also available. Definitely not a beergeek place but can be a fun stop when in the area.

Worth a visit if you’re in the area. Beers are not so exciting, but seem to have something a bit Belgian running through them. Prices are good, and some of them are pretty nice. Food was nice too. Don’t forget to take your glasses to the glass return area. They’ll tell you if you’re doing it wrong. Go for the fun rather than the beer probably. Oh and the cheese plate is a good one.

Neighborhood-centered brewpub SW of Tokyo. Very fun, interesting place. Homey, good jazz, nice food. Very cheap. Beers are designed for cheap imbibing, not connoisseurship. Quality is a bit shaky, though cheap and fun. Good home made Chinese Dim sum was a very nice surprise. A fun, cheap place to drink, though beer geeks will be disappointed by the beer, which is brewed for the common man.
