Modern bar quite far from city center. Service is ok, looked kind of bored. Selection is mostly limited to tap. Prices are not cheaper than in center. Overall: it’s not bad, but the only reason to come to here is the shirt (but for some reason it doesn’t come with the sort haired blond on the picture at the website :( ).
Good sized modern bar, bit out of town so less tourists. Large but I cohesive tap list without too much that stands out. Staff is good,up not beer focused. Overall a decent place, but not worth travelling for.
Walked here which was a far longer walk than expected from the city center. It is easy to reach by tram. Friendly staff. Prices were not too painful for Amsterdam. Good selection of beers, liked it more than BeerTemple but the focus is different here, comparison might be unfair. Familiar & good NL craft & the prime European specialty brewers. Good selection of taps & bottles. It is a bit away from the center, it was calm & relaxing being here. With 40 taps or so (most of them looked interesting & 100 - 200 bottles there is plenty to choose. We sat on the boardwalk. Very solid place.
Nice craft-beer tap a bit off the beaten tracks; impressive row of 40 taps, quite cozy wooden interior with a certain amount of quite quiet corners; fortunately not only the most exciting IPA’S were on tap during our visit, but also a well chosen selection of very decent english ales. Worth the detour!
Nice bar with a lot of taps and a comfortable atmosphere. Worth visiting (if it is not a huge detour). You can do a craftbeer-pub-crawl and get a free tshirt if you get a receipt at Beertemple, Proeflokaal Arendsnest, ’cause BEER loves FOOD and Craft & Draft. It is not worth buying 4 beer for a shirt, but if you are looking for nice craft beer bars and are planing to have a few beers either way, this is the perfect plan for the evening.
Visited Sunday, 9/4/2016 around 2:00pm (right after it opened.) We were the sole patrons at the time. Well, us and a cat that was climbing on the taps and the register and the sink at the bar...About 35 beers on tap with a nice selection of both Dutch beers and imports. Tasters available. They have a very small bottle shop available with bottles available to drink on the premises or to take home. A little off the beaten path. Worth a stop if you’re nearby.
