A very nice bar modeled on what I might call a ’contemporary American-style craft beer bar’. The place itself is neat and attractive, with a nice bar to sit at along with a bunch of tables. The beer selection here is good for Japanese beers, but not incredible. They do have a pretty impressive selection of American beers on tap and in bottle or can. They also boast a comprehensive array of American bourbon. Prices are about average for Tokyo. Friendly and effective staff who can communicate in English. Nice-looking food menu; we had some basic nibbles. Overall, this is a very nice bar. If I was a local in search of American beer (or bourbon), this place would be a mainstay; as a tourist seeking out Japanese micros, this place was a little less compelling, though still very good.
One of the best beer bars I saw in Tokyo. Basement, sort of hard to find. They have a decent selection of Japanese beers, but their strengths are international. Have some nice whiskeys on hand as well. Visited with Sam and Janet in 2017.
Visited in the evening, place was rather crowded. If Tim wasn’t saving a place for us we’d probably have to wait for a seat. Food was good. During our visit they had Pipeworks and Half Acre sort of takeover. Some really nice beers. Good Japanese beers as well. Prices on the high side. Had a really nice evening with Tim and rest of the guys. One of top places in Tokyo.
You get what you pay for. I really enjoyed getting to try some very hard to find brews, basically impossible to get in Japan outside of this bar. The food was good. Service was fair, but not exactly friendly or welcoming. Bar was very dark and not easy to find. Dark Lord bro!
After hearing so much about the craft beer scene in Japan I was so stoked to check this place out. Menu was ok, but more than half was out of stock. Beers on tap were 7/10 at best. Didn’t live up to the hype and service was just typical restaurant bar service, nothing special. Sat at the bar for 3 round with food and didn’t get more than a hi from the staff aside from my ordering.
I really love this place and go there more than once a week while I’m in Tokyo.
Their beer selection is the best at this moment in Tokyo since the owner imports some of beer personally. You cannot find some of them out of this place.
Please don’t miss their burgers and pizza. Staff sometimes are not able to communicate in English fluently, but no worry: they are lovely enough to take your order and assist your request.

Famous bar in Shibuya with lots of hand-carried American imports on tap and a huge bottle list as well. Lots of rare beers can be had here for large sums of money. The taps are priced a little more competitively but still expensive for Tokyo. I usually stick to the Japanese taps which are priced more competitively. The bacon burger was awesome. In a dark basement which is kind of annoying to me, but non-smoking and English menus for food and beer.
American style bar with a huge tap and bottle selection (mostly us but lots of japanese micros as well). I was there during its IPA week, so the whole tap list was dedicated to the lovely ipa category.
Stopped by cos I heard they have 3 Floyds.(The only place I know of that does in Japan). The place is clean and upbeat. A lotta expats hanging around.
Stopped by in the middle of Japan spring break and had two 200 ml pours for about 1400 yen. The prices are insane but well worth it if you’re looking for some of these really rare brews in Japan (Lost Abbey’s Cuvee de Tomme for 4400)
Unfortunately for us expats that is the price we must pay.
