Very buzzy, lots of vibes. A real oasis of beer in Hackney Wick. All their own beers on tap naturally plus interesting guests such as Thronbridge black IPA Raven, and lots of nice things in bottles including Wild Beer company, Belgium.
Pizzas didn’t seem that great, and could have done with another minute in the oven to crisp them up, but excellent place nonetheless.
Very nice spot with a beautiful sitting area outside just on the canal .. the beers we had were just in the average but have it in this kind of beautiful and relaxing space it’s a plus .. we did not have food but we’ve seen pizzas come out from the kitchen but for an Italian they did not look very nice .. regular price for london ( even for here )
Pretty popular spot, quite load inside but the terrace was pleasant. If I went back it would be on a weekday daytime I think as it was crazy busy. Beers ranged from great to a bit boring and not convinced by the whole experience, but worth popping if you are going to Howling Hops next door. Felt quite old here...
A fine trendy spot in London with big couches and a definitively hipster clientele. Rotating taps including several of their own brews which aren’t too bad. Pizzas were absolutely great and highly recommended. Decent sized bottle list with plenty of oddities and rarities to experiment with.
Nice place, industrial interior, not very crowded during our visit which was late afternoon. Loved the neighborhood and the canal. Service was good. Selection was mostly Crate, but also Saltaire, Evil Twin, Oakham, Ska Brewing. I believe 6 cask and 4 kegs were on during our visit. Worth visiting.
Visited a few times. Large warehouse conversion on the canal a few minutes walk from Hackney Wick, a barge on the canal does cruises and also sells beer and cocktails. Food is wood fired pizzas. Good range of Crate beers and a handful of guests available. Prices are OK, service is good. Gets busy at weekends so struggle to get a seat. Decent spot and a nice place to try their beers
Probably fair to say it’s a very hipster place - even looking from outside. However, good selection of beers and very friendly staff. I do wish trendy places would stop ruining my pizzas with plants though.
Great guys that took me under their wing and gave me a whirlwind tour. Massive growth at this 3 year old brewery means they use a mobile canning line, are putting in a kombucha set up and have grown from a small brewpub to taking over most of the yard they share with Howling Hops. Very cool place but prices seemed a bit high. I was surprised to find they had a big terrace right on a canal, too bad it was raining...
