As the Hoppy Loft, this should also be included in the Delirium entry. It’s just additional space, with apparently nothing more to offer than the main delirium next door; I purchased a special beer that should be served in 15cl glasses, my glass was no more than 10cl, also visible difference from the glasses of my friends; I made the waiter notice that but he ignored the complain.

Literally next door from Delirium Café. This place is much friendlier, more relaxed and cozier. Service was quick and friendly. Beer selection is comparably standard, but they have sample glasses and it’s quite worth it go skip your last beer at Delirium Café and come here instead.
Still a tourist trap, but much less than the others. Lots of wood furniture, dark and only slightly too loud music. I wouldn’t recommend going there, but it is a solid bar and definitely more relaxed atmosphere than the overcrowded delirium cafe next door.
Ambiance - Smaller place with a trappist-ish focus. Felt much cozier than the big café. Service - Sloppy but very friendly. Selection - I was happy to have some trappists on tap. Food - Did not eat. Value - Decent. Additional comments - None!
Quite big place that manage to keep a rather relaxed atmosphere, much quitter and cozier than Delirium café above. Great selection of bottle beer and the staff seems to know their beer, at least I got some good recommendation and even a suggestion for the order to taste them. I think this place is actually the true spirit of Delirium Café, as the café at ground floor is more typical for tourists and party crew and the Hop loft is a bit more hipster style.
What to say about this place, it was certainly quieter, in the respect of being less packed, but not in the lairy manner of the Customers. This seemed to be driven by the amount of spirits the bar seemed to dish out, there seemed to be total mayhem going on . Getting served proved to be totally impossible and getting hold of a beer menu, which all seemed to have been collected up even more difficult. Being totally ignored by the staff didn’t help, there seems to be an ageist thing going on. This is one place we will not be returning to the Cafe and Hoploft are far superior.
Part of the madness that is Delirium in Brussels though this section is a bit more relaxed with a focus on trappist/abbey beers. Staff was nice and it is easy to start chatting with other customers.

Somewhat typical Delirium... Decent selection. Prices and service are ok. Most beers a beer nerd knows, not saying you can’t enjoy a good beer twice! But with the hoppy loft this close by, the choice is easy.
