Been there a few times. Quite big with bar and pub downstairs, possibility to sit outdoor, restaurant area at the top floor. The beers I had were not something special and they did not have any I had not tried before. The premises were, however, quite cosy, the staff friendly and I have always had a good time there. Have not eaten there yet.
I stop by once a year. One of the few places in Jylland with real cask ale, normally opend on wednesdays. Also they usualy have one tap with Esbjerg microbrewery. Bottle selection very decresed in the last years. DØE meeting place.
A huge made to look English/Irish pub. A quite wide range, but the speciality, beers from Esbjerg Mikrobryg was off at the time for my visit - and that was the only reason I went, so I was very disappointed. I had a new stale cask beer - but it had been open for 3 whole days, which didn’t do the beer any good. The service was OK, they did check the cellar for extra kegs of Esbjerg beer, but were slow at the table. The food was OK, nothing fancy in the cafe for lunch. Don’t go out of your way for this place, but if you pass right by, then drop in.

Excellent spot right on the main square. Lots of seats outside if you feel like watching the world go by. Quite pubby feel inside. Sat at the bar on a quiet Monday afternoon. Barman friendly and knowledgable. I counted 19 taps, of which about half were Danish microbrews. I got an Esbjerg MIcrobryg beer, which was what I was mainly after but there were also another three new beers for me. Didn’t look at the bottle selection or eat - there is a separate restaurant off to the side, don’t know whether they do food in the bar part. I imagine this place would get a lot more lively in the evening (there seems to be some sort of nightclub downstairs). Highly recommended for your first Danish beer or two if you are coming off the ferry. Or at any time for that matter.
Maybe the best place in Esbjerg and people know it. Had a couple of good beers newer before tasted in a nice bar, where people around us had a good time with high laughs. Some beers on tap and many bottles. Good service and a place to be visited again!
This place is among the locals called "Dronningen" (the queen), and it has a very nice atmosphere like a real English pub, and their selection of beers both in bottles and on tap is varied and the have a ever changing beer-of-the-week from tap. The service is friendly and I liked it a lot. I had no food there, but I’m told it’s good.
