Having traveled around the world for beer, pubs, and breweries I will say this is/was my worst experience ever. The beer and pricing were alright. It was the staff particularly... service, and treatment that were horrendous! I have never felt so uncomfortable and humiliated by someone at a pub in my life. Shame on your bartender(s) cheers to the rest of Florida.
Located in cute little Dunedin. Ample parking both at the at the brewery and across the street. The inside is somewhat reminiscent of Green Flash in that a thin bar serves as the partition between drinking/dining area and the brewing equipment. Short bar in the front, but there’s several tables. Some seating outside on the patio with sunbrellas. Great, friendly, interested service. The beer here is unremarkable and somewhat limited. One guest tap, which is a Lagunitas shutdown here now. Prices are decent. Their (pub) food is very good. They make their own buffalo wings sauces. The fact that it is the oldest craft brewery in Florida is worth a few points alone.
Ambiance is kinda weird big open dance hall type feel. Service was good and friendly but not very kmowledgable. Selection was solid 12 taps but most inderwhelming, Food was cheap and damn fast. Value was cheap but not too great beer.
The atmosphere is pretty awesome. Big giant fermenters hold court in this smallish place. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Decent selection of different types of brews. Food was better than I anticipated. I left spending less than I anticipated also. Very nice place.
New visit on January 19, 2014. Walked over from 7venth Sun. Sat in the back room, sampled 4 or 5 beers in a flight. Ate some smoked pulled pork wrap that was excellent. Good service, though the place was fairly packed. Nice place for both food and beer.
First visit: January or February 2011. Pretty good stuff here, had two sampler plates for a total of 12 beers rated. Had a nice burger for food. Place is not too big though, we were there fairly early a Sunday, but I guess it can get pretty packed. Nice beers, good service.
Went here to watch my friend’s band a while back. Beer selection was okay. Their beer was not the worst I have ever had, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to acquire any of it. Service was subpar. Loud environment, but I was there to listen to the music. Price was a little steep for the quality.
Chill place to get a brew. 12 or so or taps. I had an IPA and a saison both were good. Funky music in the background, cool bartender (mark?) If I was a local I would hang here. I think they serve food as well but I didnt eat. Wine(s) available.
