They have a small brewhouse, on the bar the beers produced in the supermarket are available together with some other italian crafts. Selection is ok, price not. It is usually crowded and a bit stiffling.
Eataly is a brilliant place to visit, wherever in the world you find one, but it was a special treat to see this temple in Rome. Speaking only of the beer room: decent atmosphere, lots of light, but a little cafeteria like. Bar was cozy enough. Lots of bottles to select from and a decent, but not brilliant, draft list. You could find something nice to enjoy here at any time, but not necessarily something special or new. There are special sandwiches available here in the bar room only, and they were great. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back, but I’d be here more for the market all around than for the beers. House beers are expensive.
This is as good as it gets in terms of supermarket brewpubs. You got a selection of several hundred beers mostly Italian and Europeans with a big variety of Belgians & Germans, some US stuff as well. The Brewpub can be viewed through a huge glass window while the pub portion has a range of beers on tap. Grab a drink and browse the beer aisle, how cool is that? They also were kind enough to offer me samples of the brewpub offerings and some complimentary bread. Stop in if you are in the area.
