20 minutes by foot from train station Lingotto, very close to 8 Gallery shopping center. Also there’s much easier way to get here, but I was waiting for my train on Lingotto. It looks like roofed market where you can find lots of stuff, from food, drinks and other things. Very good selection of Italian and foreign beers but quite pricey even for Italy. All in all worth of visit.
Well it is a grocery store, albeit a specialty store with multiple eateries within its walls (plus a patio). There is a fair selection of Italian micros, mostly Baladin and an elusive MGD. The prices are good.
Vast eatery at the south of Torino. Covering two levels the main area of interest is in the basement level and centres around a horse-shoe bar. Not too many chilled beers compared to some of the other Eatalys. They also have around 7-8 taps. Note this part is not always open and is typically open at eating times.
Great selection of take-away beers, although an improvement would be to add a few more fridges in this huge space. Good food.
Good beer destination but not a classic.
Take the metro to Spezia, then continue in the same direction. The entrance is in a square on the right. There is a cafe with two taps and several other taps dotted around on cheese & meat counters. The bottled beers are on sale in the basement. (Use lift or travelator.) There is also a bar down there with 8 taps, but no-one to serve you. Prices for the bottles are the same if you were to buy in the bars.
Beershop di prodotti gourmet non solo birre. Abbastanza assortito ma un poco caro. Nel parcheggio a pagamento mi sono trovato il vetro della macchina spaccato e senza il mio computer portatile... non credo di tornare! Meno male della birra!
Italian foods department store slash lunch place. Which shopping for posh and good quality pesto, pasta, conserves, cookies and wine you can drop by the beer department (not to be confused with the small yet attractive shelves of beer upstairs). Here is not only a bar with food and craft beers (strangely mostly non-Italian) but also a with range of beers from Italy, Germany, Belgian and the UK. As a tourist/non-local the Italian beer selction is really good yet limited in brewers. Birra del Borgo, Baladin, Nobody around to ask anything though. Prices are high in this store and Italian beer is expensive any way, but the beautiful little bottles make up for the ~3 to ~3,50 euro per small bottle or ~9 euro per large bottle price point. Nice place to visit. Certianly not cheap, but if you have no time to visit the bottle shops in Torino (like me) that it’s worth a visit. Easy (paid) parking.
Large supermarket with Italian quality food. Good beer selection from all Europe, super selection of Italian craft beers, often on tap in the basement canteen. Ask for a quickly-refrigerated bottle chosen from the shelf. Not cheap
Eataly is a supermarket of tipycal and selected italian products. Beer is just one of many products sell there. So, like every supermarket, the service is not excelent. Perhaps there are a good choice of italian beer and the price are good.
