Located right next to the Goldenes Dachl, I would not have a beer place expected here. The selection is similar to other places in town, a couple of big internationals and some Austrians, some of which are interesting, though. Service was nice and quick when I was there, and the prices are very reasonable especially for this location. A nice place to hang out.
OK student pub, with a typical grubby atmosphere. Food is OK and affordable, Service is average for Austria, which means not the fastest and not the friendliest. Beer selection is pretty good for Austrian means, but still not overwhelming. Overall the best beer place in Innsbruck, which tells more about the beer culture in Innsbruck than about this pub...
We sat in the nonsmoking section that was still nice. Staff was helpful, knew enough english. Wasnt expecting this place to be so nice when it is located on the main tourist square. Some Austrian beers on tap, Belgian fruit beers in a bottle.
More bad service in Innsbruck! When I sat at a table inside I must have been invisible! So had to move to the bar to get served, and even that seemed too much hassle for the teenage staff! For me the only beer that stood out was the Gusser Zwickl. I saw beers being topped up from the wrong tap...

We visited here Thursday 31st May 2012. I have to say I wasn’t expecting great things from this place, it was situated in a very touristy part of the town and seemed forever busy. However it was really quite decent, the young girl serving us couldn’t have been more pleasant, the people watching options in this area was also top notch. There was a pretty decent if not exceptional choice, I had a Morchl I think from Hirster, Loz had a smoothie without banana.
A pub which is nice but still lacks of atmosphere. They offer a not so bad choice of some international beers but mostly the well known ones (Guinness, Hoegarden, Leffe, etc.). Probably still the best place to drink beer in Innsbruck.
Great restaurant for beer lovers. The smoking section is the bar at the front, the restaurant is at the back, much quieter, but it soaks up the ambiance from the bar without the smoke. The service was excellent, very quick and polite. The food was pretty good, tyrolian fare...my wife LOVED her pumpkin soup. The beer selection is good - they have probably 10 Austrian beers and 15 others from Belgium & Germany. Very reasonably priced, I thought. Enjoyed the meal, I’d go back for sure next time I’m in Innsbruck.
A pub that holds little charm but appears to be popular with locals and tourists alike. The taps were of local brews and had a couple of zwickls for example. The bottle range is your more common Belgian and German brews and are reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and happy to chat about the beers and make recommendations which is nice for someone who was new to beer. The food is ribs and burgers and the sort. If you sit inside it can get very smoky so best to grab a seat outside, weather permitting.
