Parking on street only, so it is not easy. Good mix of 20 somethings and 30 somethings for the most part. My sandwich was the size of my head and was very good pulled pork. the onion rings were great. There is a bar on the front left. The rest is tables for food. The place was busy, but we got a seat right away. Service was good and food was brought pretty quickly. They have a shop up stairs with a limited number of fat heads six-packs and other beers which they have a paper list of, and some fat heads paraphernalia. They had a selection of fat heads and other beers on draft. They don’t have a sampler though. Really good time, hope to go back.
South side of Pitt. Street and lot parking--like $1/hour or something. Big bar with a bunch of tables around. I think there may have been other rooms too. Taplist about 20 of their own plus another 20 or so including nitros and ciders. Allegedly happy hour prices but I didn't see any difference. Otherwise prices seemed typical. Other raters not joking about the size of sandwiches but that was half the reason we went there--and quality was not sacrificed as they were awesome. Beers are plus plus and so was the food. Why not go here? We will return
decent place in the south side of Pittsburgh. I came about 3:30 on a Wednesday and struggled to find a seat. Anyone after was standing for sure. Had 3 FH beers, all of which were excellent and half priced during happy hour (hence why so busy I suppose). I ordered nachos for dinner and ate about 1/4 of the plate. Most food item portions were stupid big. service was satisfactory.
Not really a brewpub, no brewing going on here. Lunchtime on a wenesday. Interesting place down on the southside. Loaded with people but I didn’t have any trouble finding a spot at the bar. Big easy to read bar tap menu. Had no trouble finding something I haven’t tasted before. Small high ceiling warehouse type feel inside. Help was very friendly but the prices were a little high for this country boy. $8 for a micro draft of Moylan’s. Lots of good food going around but I didn’t have any. Large crowd noise inside but the music was subdued. Parking is not the most pleasant of situations. If you hit this place, why not do Smoken Joes and Piper’s pub too?
Great brewpub in a busy area in Pittsburgh. Lots of their own beer on draft and a good selection of other stuff as well, though the outside taps didn’t seem well curated. Ambiance is cool - watched the Canada-U.S. world cup hockey game here and worked hard not to cheer for Canada out loud. Flights are available. Service good.
Great lineup of beers with several Fat Head beers and guest taps. Flights available for anything on tap. Friendly and accommodating staff. Amazing food, recommend the South Slope if you like kielbasa and perogies. A definite stop when in PGH.
Nice brewpub with a solid bar area and dining area. Lots of brick and wood give this a good comfortable vibe. Service was good, but not overly beer focused. Huge selection of beers, enough that you will find something new. Flights are available. Food as with all their location is huge and quite good. A great stop.
Got there late, wasn’t crowed. Just the way I like it. Wife and I had a couple of sandwiches which were tasty. We tried the Fat Head brews and were pleased. Cool place. If I lived in the hood, I’d hang out there.
