Life at Ithaca College is made easier having such a great selection so close to my dorm. The create a six pack is perfect for days when you don’t know what to get. They sell t-shirts and other fun stuff. The staff knows all. Ask them what to get.
I will quote my reaction as soon as I entered: "...." Yes, absolutely speechless. I was absolutely overwhelmed walking through the store. Row after row of racks of specialty brews form all over. The largest selection I have ever seen by far. I’ve only been there twice so far and I am incapable of spending any less than a half an hour there. There is just so very much to take in and discover. All of the people who work there are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. If I had the time and the money, I would make this place a daily stop.
The only sad element of this for me is that this is my last year living in Ithaca...so I better take advantage of this place while I’m still here!

This is one of the best bottle shops in the whole state of NY. If it’s distributed in NY then they will most likely have it. They will also work out rare keg orders for you and have a rotating growler station with 12 taps that is well curated. The owners love some beer and are some of the most knowledgeable shop owners that I have met.
Great little beer shop in downtown Ithaca. Tons of local selections and some nice imports - about four-five beer aisles in total. Friendly service and the prices weren’t bad for local bombers - cheaper than in NJ.
I’ve been to several stores in other states, including my native Michigan, that love to tout their best-of-someone’s list. I have to admit I did not appreciate what a great selection I had access to at Finger Lakes Beverage. I’ve honestly not been to a better store, which has kinda been a bummer when I go to high rated ones that don’t match up.
I always found prices fair (competitive with the local grocery store, Wegmans) and was impressed that the owners drove to NYC to pick up some great product when it wasn’t accessible through distributors -- like Captain Lawrence and Pretty Things -- turned away old product grocery stores would shelve (near end-date IPAs), and would talk to distributors to get stuff I wanted.
The store is in the midst of a huge remodeling (which actually temporarily brought down selection) and does a lot to improve the ambiance.
This place is heaven for someone tired of the lack of selection and high prices in Pennsylvania. A really nice selection of Belgians, Germans, English, locals, regional, and country wide good beers. Singles. Growlers. Great prices! I dont know what else to say. One of the more enjoyable beer stores Ive ever been to!
Living in Ithaca, this is the only place I need to go. I’ve been shopping here since the week I turned 21, and haven’t looked back since. I feel spoiled to have such a great store, so close by. Yes, the exterior looks pretty shady, but once you get inside, you are met with row upon row of gorgeous micro brew. They even hide the macro-crap in the back, as not to detract from the ambient-glow of the finer beers. Overall, the best beer store I’ve ever seen, and the one I’ll remember forever if I ever leave the Ithaca area!
If you’re staying in or driving through Ithaca, this place is a must stop. Their singles selection may be the best that I’ve seen with an endless selection of local bottles in addition to cool limited stuff like Cigar City Guava Grove, Rodenbach Vintage, and the Hanssens experimental lambics. Simply amazing beer shop.

This place isn’t as big as Beers Of The World or Half Time, but the space they have they put to good use. They cram the macro swill all the way in the back, and they waste no space in the Craft Brew section - it’s all good stuff. Seriously, you could go down any aisle with a blindfold on and randomly grab a bottle, and you won’t be disappointed with what you selected. Very clean and well maintained shelves, and I haven’t found an expired beer there yet. They also have 11 beers on tap for growler fills, and they are always good selections.
Service is always good both when filling growlers and asking questions about the selection. They have given me freebies on a couple occasions when I spent a significant amount there.
