The place looks great; however, it’ feels more like a restaurant with the beer as an after thought. The beer was excellent as I’m accustomed to from FW. Our server was okay, but not too knowledgable. Good variety of beer styles, and the wine list looked good as well. The food was crazy overpriced and not very good. I’d only go back to scoop up some take home beers or to grab a pint.
The Taproom was special. There is a sign on the wall that states: "We are living beer." The Taproom is across the street the brewery and their tasting room. It was Sunday and they had the NFL games running in the bar area. Overhead the bar was a track with beer bottles moving in a circle. This is definetly "Industrial chic". The kitchen is open to the dinning area. It has the feeling of inside a brewery. Beers are excellent.
Nice Brewery/taproom/restaurant located just off the 101 freeway. The place is very cool with a good selection of FW brews ( you can also have some vintages). Service was very helpful and knowledge. The food was good with some pairings beer/food very interesting. Worth 2 hours drive!! Ask for some Barrel works project beer!!
Excellent service, ambiance and selection of FW on tap. Had the chance to try both 12 and 13 of the Double DBA.
Beer is very fresh and properly served. Nice design of the bar!

nice place, good size restaurant and bar section. industrial look, with some warmth added by lights. paintings, enough daylight from windows has latio, though it was closed for brewers event. tad noisy by it closeness to the 101. staff has been good when I’ve been here, busy both times due to events, still got to everyone, and were properly staffed for the amount of people
here. solid selection. dont really need.to say more. just come.here.
Great place! Went or lunch and they had a decent menu with very good food. Of course they only have their own beers but that's fine since they are all great, can't go wrong with any of them. They even had some beers that you can only get there - like the Unfiltered DBA which I had and was excellent. Took the brewery tour afterwards too (need to reserve in advance). Cute little tasting room right across the street from the restaurant too. Well worth the stop!
Very large area with lots of house beers to pick from including half a dozen tap room only beers like the brown ale and the pils. They also have some vintage bottles for pretty high prices ($55 for last year’s anniversary).
Service is friendly and attentive. Got a quick flight of four and despite a$6 tab also some friendly conversation. would return if passing by to see what’s new but most of the non sour offerings get distributed nation wide.
Didn’t try the food but I hear it’s good, might have eat here next time.
Large taproom in front of the brewery. Off Highway 101 (Ramada Drive), just south of Paso Robles proper. Very large dining/bar area: booths, large tables, and a U-shaped bar with a funny revolving line (like a bottling line) of blinking bottles overhead. Industrial look on the ceiling, slick cement floor, and aluminium "Diamond Plate" (that bright sliver material used for fancy pickup truck storage boxes) halfway up the wooden walls. 15 beers on tap. Also, several local wines. Food was pretty good: we had tortilla soup and fish tacos. Also a selection of salads, pizzas, sanwiches, and entrees. Knowledgeable staff, fairly friendlly, too -- but perhaps a tad too rushed, even though the place was not crowded. Our server was pretty good. But another sat right outside our window, chatting away on her cell phone. The beers are in great condition, fresh, served at proper temperatures (not too cold), and much much better than FW stuff in bottles. Flights of four generous samplers or individual beers, as you like it. They also have what they label "Library" sales -- bottles of earlier vintages for consumption on premises only (to prevent high-priced resales on eBay, etc.). Wish I’d had more time here. I certainly do plan on going back.
Pretty large restaurant/bar right across from the brewery. Lots of taps with a few beers you don’t see much of/at all outside of the brewery. The food was pretty good. It’s definitely a step up from typical pub food, too. The service was okay, but one of the bartenders did stop to do her makeup while I was sitting there.
Nice tap room with a great selection of super fresh beer. Normally is a pretty good vibe and service, however when a winery tour bus arrives you might as well leave or be ready to wait a half hour for a beer.
