a somewhat weird bar as it is in the downstairs of the tropicana, which almost is like a indoor mall with alot of restaurants such as Hooters, Corky’s BBQ. The selection didn’t dissapoint, have many beers such as Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on tap, but on the other hand, they had 3 Heavyweights on tap, 2 Harviestoun beers, Cantillon in bottle. Another big plus is that they do samplers- 4 beer samples for the price of a pint. The male bartender who was serving me knew the beers and offered proper glassware, but the girls who took over didn’t know much at all about beer. Overall, a quality place and I’ll definitely go again the next time I am in A.C.
An oasis in the desert. Well, an oasis with an inexplicably wide beer selection, many of which actually are good (tho most of which I’d rated before, I managed to find a few newbies). Most of the barmaids are indeed clueless but when you’re in this place you should be grateful to have an option like this. If I hadn’t been looking for newbies there were easily a couplpe dozen beers I’ve rated very highly that I would have been just tickled to drink.
Located on the bottom level of the Tropicana, this is basically the only place to consume a real beer on the boardwalk. Have about 50 beers on top and over 100 in bottles. I would say about 2/3 of taps are above average brews and the bottle selection is pretty well balanced between imports and US craft beers. If in AC, this is the spot to go.
Before the trop manages to suck all of the money out of your pocket, because seriously since the Havana Tower has opened you just don’t win there, anyway save a few dollars and head down the stars to drown the sorrows of losing. Usually ditzy bartenders who seem like they’ve migrated over from hooters, and one guy that is usually there that actually knows where to find the beers they have. Selection is good, Perkuno’s Hammer on tap is the highlight for me. Good bottle selection some Belgians Orval is a hilight. Decent US micros DFH, Victory and some other regional stuff. Nice place to hang out
They have added food. Basic bar snacks...nachos and stuff, but they installed a pretty decent deli counter (very Jersey style with a huge selection of meats and cheeses) where you can literally walk two feet to get a sub.
I enjoyed the beer selection even though it wasn’t the world’s best it was large enough with a pretty decent number of taps. Was enough beers to keep me hopping around and some fantastic favorites I had never gotten to try on draft like Perkunos Hammer. I have to say I really enjoyed this place and if you don’t have ready access to the beers sold in the tr-state area you’ll be quite impressed with the selection.
An ample menu of standards and hard to find treats, Firewaters one serious drawback is lack of any kind food, even pub grub. In my opinion, this is almost necessary in order to get full appreciation out of a long session. One of the few places you can get Heavywieght beers on tap, Firewaters almost always features a DogfishHead brew or 2 in the tap lines as well.

Easily the best place to find a beer in A.C. 50 beers on draught with a great selection of bottles to choose from. As stated before all the glasses came frosted but this was remedied by asking the bartender to run it under water for a few seconds. By the way this place has the hottest bartenders you will find in any beer bar. Others have said they weren’t knowledgeable but my server knew exactly what I wanted when asked.
Tip of the day: Sit at the corner of the bar. Thats where they stock the Coors forcing the girls to reach down and in to retrieve the beer while you get a show and a half. It’s cold in those coolers. ;^)

Indeed pretty much the best place in AC to get beer, not all that large of a place though, very nice selection of beers on draft as well as in bottles, lots of good local micros on draft, kinda dark down there in the "lower" level of the casino, but a decent place to get away from the loud action upstairs
All things considered, this is the best place to get a good beer in AC. No, it’s not a world class selection and you won’t be wowed by the beer list if you’ve been to other quality beer bars. That said, it’s got a great location and you’ll find something on the menu that won’t let you down. Prices are not too bad. They usually have DFH 120min which is a fun way to shock your friends, too. Hot bartenders know nothing about beer, but some of them are very, very attractive - a plus.
I was really looking forward to trying this place after a couple of people I know raved about it. Big tap and bottle selection, but nothing to make you go WOW! Everything was served in shaker glasses(chilled to boot) and the bartenders weren’t very knowledgeable. One of the bottles I ordered needed a corkscrew and it took 10 minutes for them to find one. All that being said, the staff were very friendly and they DO have around 50 beers on tap.
In the Tropicana below the casino floor. Good selection of micro & Euro beers on tap plus bottles. Barmaid was friendly, but didn’t know much about the beers she served. She was more eye candy than anything. Firewaters is nice place to spend an hour and take a time out from gambling.
