Large warehouse like interior, separate growler fill station and a large bar with lots of room and a big screen TV for sports. Nice patio. Reasonable selection of beers on, but just pints or half pints. Decent place.
Easy to find location east of downtown Indy just off I-65. Street parking and some lot parking on weekend. Clean painted red building with growler fill station in first room and tasting to the right with tables and chairs. Samples always and pints when they a pizza food truck. Freindly people with all staff working the crowd to pormote. Interesting diverse selection of beer. Will go when in the area.
Not the best location on the east side of downtown, really around nothing. However, very cool once you’re inside with the creative seating. Good beers, awesome patio. Glassware is severally lacking though. I did like that you could get kegs to go without pre-ordering.
Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon. I actually walked here from Sun King since they are very close to each other. Plus, Sun King has a parking lot and Flat 12 does not. Anyway, when I walked in the front door, there was a line to get something from their 20+ taps. I ordered a couple half pints. I don’t think they had anything smaller available. Anyway, the beer I ordered was very good. They actually have two rooms with different taps and casks. They variety of styles offered are also pretty large. They probably had 30 taps and 2-4 casks going while I was there. The patio is a pretty nice place to hang out with a fire pit and lots of seating available. Dog friendly, which isn’t that big of a deal to me, but there were a few people that had their dogs with them while I was there. They don’t have food, but there was a very nice food truck outside of the front door while I was here. I had my first experience with Bahn Mi with this truck. Delicious!. Anyway, pricing is very reasonable and there is a lot to choose from here. Next time I’m in Indy ,I’ll be stopping here for sure.
A brewery just outside downtown Indy. As you enter there is an area for growler fills and pints (poured in plastic cups). There is a separate area on the right for samples (free, 4 oz.). This area also contains some wired metal (outdoor-esqe) tables. Oh, and shopping carts that have been converted into chairs. There is music playing. No TVs of course. There is an outdoor patio area. They have pizzas available which are made in a trailer outside (I think - I didn’t get one, but they sure smelled good!). They have 4 regular taps and a couple of seasonals/one-offs, all great stuff. I was very impressed with the quality of their beers. This is probably one of the better (or best) new breweries in Indy. A great place (certainly unique) to hang out and enjoy some great beer.
Just east of downtown. Tasting room fairly small and seating is limited (this has improved now and also have an outdoor patio). Good selections of their beers and were very accommodating. Menu was very limited but what they had smelled and looked very good. Now have glasses (Shakers) for full pours but still plastic for half pours. Growler fill area separate from tasting area. Will be a regular stop for me as it’s pretty easy to get to off 65/70.
Just outside of downtown area. Like all the Indy taprooms, not open until 4! Still, when we arrived just after, place was wide open for sitting. Not a big sitting area, but nice. Very DIY inside. Friendly staff and very generous free sample pours. Big selection of non-bottled beers.
Very friendly. Only their own but good beers. They have a permanent sub shop now for food. A little slow on a Sunday but nice

I’ve been follow 12 on Facebook for about a year now and finally made it into town again to give the a shot. Tried 3 regular offerings and 2 special offerings. All 3 beers were enjoyable and I dug the establishment. I think these guys are worth keeping an eye on, I suspect we are going to see some great stuff from them in the future.
