Best selection in town, and it’s expanded a good bit since the N.C. alcohol cap came off. Some special or another every night, and all the usual trivia, pint night, etc. My bartender wasn’t particularly knowledgeable, but it was loud and a busy night. I’d go again, if just to sample some N.C. micros, which they carry in quantity.

Better than the Raleigh location in everything but the beer. Parking is good, food is just as mediocre but last summer they had 25 cent wings on Mondays along with $2.50 pints which was nice. Service can be slow but the waitresses are nice to look at (much better than the Raleigh location). Like I said, the beer isn’t as good as the Raleigh location mainly because the only beer they have to satisfy the hophead is Tuppers or Cottonwood Endo, whereas the Raleigh one has 60 minute and Avery IPA all the time. Anyways, great selection for an NC bar.

Posted while sitting at the bar. Fairly crowded for a Tuesday @ 7.00 p.m. Plenty of staff running around, this is my first visit here. Don’t know if I will reach the 200 beer mark but I joined the UFO club anyway. There are some perks after each 50. I understand NC has some ridiculous ABC laws but this place does the best they can. Had a burger from the limited pub grub menu and was very pleased. I recommend the build your own flight which allows you to taste five 5 oz. samples from the drafts available. I will go out of my way to return if I am in Charlotte again.

This is the best place in town. If you want to drink go here. If you want to dance find some other place. The waitress are prompted and good looking. Hit up Mondays for 2.50 pints and Wednesday to get a class with the special and trivia. All though the food selction is limited, it is still great food.

Try to ignore the boring young businessmen, go on Mondays (2.50 almost anything on tap), order from the bar (the young plaid skirted women are too busy, and I hate feeling like I’m supposed to tip more just because someone is dressed slutty), enjoy a great selection of dark beers, play some pool, enjoy the plush couches... Unless you got more dough than me (very likely), go elsewhere during the rest of the week.

This is a great place for trying new beers. I wouldn't suggest it if you're looking for great food. But the pub grub that they have is usually good enough. The service at the bar is much better than the waitress service at the tables. Very large selection of beer. But don't believe the 'No Crap on Tap!'. Because they have their fair share of crap.

Great selection, particularly of local beers. Good atmosphere and a lot of specials every week.
