Incredibly overpriced for craft beer. But youíre paying for the servers - you see they wear itsy bitsy school-girl skirts with very little/no underwear it seems. Servers donít know crap about the beers. On a good note - the selection is incredible - the location is ideal (except parking sucks) and the vibe is amazing. Great place to watch the game.

Decent draft list at this place. A little removed from downtown, and kind of in a dead area. Service was ok, and they offer flights. Prices ok, a few interesting local drafts.

Came here for a few pours when traveling through town. Old train station that seems to be undergoing renovations on the exterior. I defiantly recommend waking up the rickety scaffolding steps as posed to the completely dark elevator when coming from parking behind and below the building. Empty for a Tuesday night. Draft list was okay, seemed a little weak for local stuff. Service was okay.

visited May 4th 2016. Too old for this shit. Really. Too much visual stimulation, dimly lit (good luck rating appearance), crowded and the shittiest acoustics - way too noisy. However, itís open til late. Beer selection is good - plenty of taps that pour hard to get local/ regional brews, so this in itself a very big plus. Bottle/ can menu is also huge, but as with places like this tends to have mix-up (I ordered Duck Rabbit Baltic Porter and was served their regular porter because the baltic wasnít in stock - waitress uncapped before I could observe and replace. Also - full size glasses only. No half pints and god forbid - no tasting flights. Would avoid had I been a local, but as a tourist, itís worth it for a round or two of local brews.

Visited on Sunday evening, 15/02/15, pretty late in the day where I finally met up with Bobby after his ridiculous Speedway inspired detour ... as such the place was quiet and not far off closing. Set in a grand old building it had the feel of an old hotel reception lobby ... A former railway station I believe but is brought back into the 21st century with UFO decor here and there. Beer wise quite an extensive list but there was a bit of crap on tap and nothing massively exciting. That said I found a few new local ticks to keep me busy for half an hour. Service was friendly but they had little to do other than deal with us two clowns whilst we propped the bar up. Overall a worthy stop but if you missed out on it this would not be the end of the world.

Nice building. Space inside is fairly large and has a lot of character. Was a short walk from our hotel, so we didnít have to deal with parking. A good selection, both on tap and in bottles, with plenty of local and regional beers to choose from. Service was slow at times, but it was crowded and busy. Low rating is due to the fact that the tap lines were contaminated, causing several of our draft beers to have a similar taste (ruining them).

Visited on a Saturday for several hours and had a really enjoyable time. It is located a few blocks up the hill from the Broadway pub row. Large open space next to Union station. Great food and tap list.

Only my second Flying Saucer visit, but I thought this was a pretty cool one. Really neat building in sort of a large dining hall/lounge...I believe this is a former train station? A little bit of a walk from the central downtown area, kind of tucked behind the Union Station hotel (neat looking place). Plates (saucers, more aptly, I suppose) all over the walls and ceiling.

Draft list is large and impressive. A lot of it seems to be rather static, but definitely a good selection of rotating/special/seasonal offerings, too. Definitely a focus on regional and local breweries there. Prices are decent enough, pretty much average for a good beer bar. They do flights as well, which I always appreciate.

Our first server seemed a bit worn out and disinterested, but she left/went on a break and the woman that relieved her was great, so no real complaints there.

Maybe a little bit on the loud and dark side if youíre just looking for a place to relax and have a beer, but it wasnít anything too crazy. And there was a hockey game that had just got out as we were arriving, a conference at the convention center, and it was Vanderbiltís homecoming weekend, so Iím sure that contributed to it as well.

First FS visit, after talking about it for years--canít wait to hit more. Long bar with a nice amount of tables, and they even have couches where you can relax (with a beer). Big tap list with a nice mix of locals and nationals. Very knowledgeable and friendly servers. Food was well above average. Perhaps a bit pricey and parking is a pain, but otherwise a pretty amazing joint. I will return (to here or others)

Limited parking right in front. The ambiance is big hall with plates all over the walls. Service was good. Pricing was reasonable for the pints pretty high for a sampler flight. Didnít have the food. Selection was good, but nothing really special. Online menu was a fair amount different than what was available.

Visited June 2014. This was my first ever visit to a FS and I was ready to relax after having a horrible visit to 12South. Chainy place, well-lit, lots of wood. Nice enough. Our server was nice and knowledgable enough. Good selection of taps as an out of towner. TONS of stuff I havenít had and a lot of locals. Tasty chain food. Average prices for food and beers. We had a good experience here for sure. I was happy and would definitely go back, especially over 12South.
