The great beer selection is the only great thing about this place. Choose your own íflightsí are a great way to try a bunch of beers for cheap. Service is slow as hell and stuffed into stupid school girl uniforms, making me embarrassed to be seen there. Noisy inside, but if the weather is nice the patio is great. Very frat-tastic. Why do they go to a place with a bunch of great beers on tap if they are just going to order Mudweiser? Go during NC State school breaks only. And bring the waitresses some pants.

Most people go to this place for their HUGE selection of draft beers. The food is below average bar food however. And the service is very slow.

Sat at a picnic table outside, with a shitty view. The crowd was college kids and some older apparent beer geeks. Great draft and bottle beer selection. The food was mediocre, and the service was rather slow. Very crowded. Worth a trip to see their bee menu.
They had a pretty good list of beers to choose from, but I had to send 3 back because they had the old taste. The selection may become better, because they just passed a higher beer law for the state. The service might be better, but our waitress only wanted to keep flirting with her boyfriend at the bar. The food was pretty much grill style and not anything great to choose from.
Parking is hard, usually I have to park on Hillsborough. Atmosphere is lousy, mostly college students drinking Miller Lite out of bottles on Mondays (when they can get a pint for less). The pizza is decent but everything else is overpriced and mediocre. Now to the beer....the selection is great for the 6% law but sometimes some beers taste old and oxidized or just not fresh. Also, one waitress gave me a hard time because I called her out on getting me the wrong beer but she didnít believe me so I had to raise hell to the manager who end up giving me the pint she gave me plus the pint I wanted, as should have been done to begin with. Overall, good place if you are close (best on Monday for $2.50 pints).
Visited 11/04. Pretty big place - lots of open spaces inside and out. Tons of beer to choose from, and good pizza (something that Charlotte doesnít have). I also liked the TVís behind the bar to watch ballgames on. Great joint - the only downside is that itís hard to find parking in downtown Raleigh.
Staff is made up of mostly frat guys or something because they really do not know their beer. Big selection, including statewide beers that are not always easy to get locally. Go on Monday when they have $2.50 pint nite. Otherwise, their prices are a bit steep. Oh, the $2.50 no longer applies to belgians--dang it. I haven't had their food so I don't know about it.
