Yes, this is named for the famous New Hampshire brewer and statesman Frank Jones who was born in Barrington, N.H. It is the only place in the statewhere you can find Frank Jones IPA (brewed by Shipyard) available on tap and based on the original 19th century recipe. The taps are mainly Shipyard and Smuttynose beers and the bottles are nationally known brews although they also had Allagash. The menu is seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and award winning onion rings. I am not trying to sound like a commercial but I very much enjoyed my experience here. The wait staff was very friendly, efficient, and proud of the fact that they served Frank Jones original IPA. Frank Jones memorabilia dots the walls. A nice place for lunch and a beer that you don’t get to try anywhere else.
