It doesn’t get any better than this for a hop- head. No complaints from me. The bartenders and wait-staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. With 50 serious beers on tap, there is no boredom in site. Plus, the food is exceptional. Fish tacos with green sauce, jambalaya, steak fajitas, and chicken wings grilled spicy are all favorites. The brand-new digs are twice as big as the prior space, with plenty of room at the bar and a communal table to chat with friends, the atmosphere is great. These guys have hit a home-run, and we are all lucky to have them in Howard County. Cheers!
Great place. Set up like a European social bar. 52 beers on draft, that change continuosly. Gives you a great opportunity to sample and try different brewers. Food is perfect for this kind of social layout. Can come in the afternoons, sit on the couches by the bar and get work done while enjoying a beverage. Stag is excellent. They try to keep the atmosphere comfortable by making personal suggestions on food and drinks. Cannot wait for the outside deck to come next spring!
This is one of the best beer bars I’ve ever been to. The staff is totally knowledgeable about the beer and they learn the patrons’ preferences and make GREAT recommendations. The first time I went here, I knew it would be my "home bar". It can get a little crowded at happy hour and during pint night events, but that, to me, is part of its charm. I’d rather it be crowded than be empty and go belly up. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Love this place. Most Tuesdays my fiancé does an afternoon run and I often meet up with him here when he finishes. The staff are very attentive. The beer lineup changes on a regular basis. There is always something new to try every week.
I went here last night for the first time and LOVED it! Oliver, the bar manager, was very cool. Definately the right guy for the job. There were 19 taps and one hand pump, soon to be 2, for cask ale. The taps rotate frequently, according to Oliver, but they always have very good selections. The tap lines were very clean, the beer was delicious. There is no swill (BMC) to be had on tap, just good craft beer. The food was very good with a southwest flair. I was there on Sunday night and the place was pretty quiet. I had Troegs Sunshine Pils, Gordon DIPA, Lancaster Dunkel Weisen, Green Flash Tripel, Brewers Art Resurection all on tap. They do Randalized pints on Mondays and tonight Troegs Nugget Nectar will be Randalized with Chinook hops I think. Can’t wait to go back!

Perhaps there’s better places to be found, but I really. really enjoyed this spot. Frisco’s had all Maryland beers(soon to change) which I enjoyed conceptually. The general manager (Noel) was our waiter and he absolutely was one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve had waiting on me. He knew all but one beer he had on tap and had good reason not to know the newest and also what was coming up and was just a nice guy in general. Highly recommended. (I had my breakfast burrito and breakfast beers there) Some decent bottled beers to go along with the taps too.
Fantastic new place in Columbia of all places. Nothing but good to great beers both on tap and in bottle. Pair that with large, cheap texmex, and you now have a reason to stop in this town. Well worthy of a place. Real ale, tastings, and dinners soon to come.
I love this place! Amazing selection of beers, including overseas brews that you won't find on draft anywhere else in the area. They also keep their beer list up to date online, so you can check out their current selection ahead of time - or on your phone at the bar.
Frisco has a great menu too - it's worth pointing out that they have some really good vegetarian options, as well as standard bar food. If you're vegetarian, I'm sure you know it's kinda rare to find a bar with several veggie-friendly choices on the menu, so this place is well worth a visit. Try the tofu pad thai!
Only thing to watch out for is the cost - the drinks can get pricey (especially the European beers), so just keep that in mind if you're running a tab.
I’ve been here at least 20 times and never had sub-par food nor drink. There’s no place even close to Frisco in the Howard County area when it comes to both beer selection and quality of grub. It’s sometimes hard because you want to try at least half the beers. Bartenders are knowledgeable and kind, Owner is cool and they are expanding soon!
Drove here after our tour at Heavy Seas Brewery. Somewhat out of the way but worth the trip. Sizable sports bar with tons of taps. Our waitress pointed out the most current drafts menus is available on our smartphones, nice! I got 2 beers and the chicken sandwich. All were very good. Their in-house brews are worth a try, better then expected. Will come back if in the area again.
