This is an extremely stuck up kind of after work place for high level executives. Has a couple of Full Sail brews you cannot get in the city but other than that this place is worth passing on. Great views of the river though.

NIce Place. 10+ Full Sail Beers on tap, plus additional micro/Oregon beers on tap. Great happy hour food menu, ranging from 2-4 dollars. Right by the river.

A really nice, kina upscale place, very unlike the full sail brewery. Great food for reasonable prices, its not cheap like many brew/burger joints, but quality food. They often have some unique full sail vintage brews on tap so check back in. Very nice restaurant that overlooks the river, it was quiet when i was there, but it was also new years day, great service and good brew.

The atmosphere is a bit icy, but if you import your own crowd that definitely influences it. Nice snax served for cheap at happy hour. The taps have expanded since I first found the place. High enough ceilings that even the crowd of suits that lit cigars took a while to have their haze decend on me.

Visited here as part of the RBSG ’04 pub crawl. This is part of McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant. The M&S by my office also has a &quo;Pilsener Room&quo;; unfortunately, the one down here features Bayhawk’s beers. Portland’s M&S wins big time w/ Full Sail. Unlike others, I liked the food at the restaurant. Having a large selection of Full Sail’s brews was great too.

They are known to have some rare beers every so often... 97 Imperial Stout, old vintages of Boardhead, and an amber and pilsener brewed only for this tap room. The restaurant focuses as much on their scotch list as they do on beer. In addition to the Full Sail offering theres usually a couple of guest taps. Be sure to go during happy hour to take advantage of the food specials. They are known to have switched taps, so be sure you get when you asked for. One of the better Happy Hours in Portland: 4-6pm and 10-close appetizers are $1.95 with a drink purchase... hard to beat that.

This place is very attractive, right on the Willamette river. Very formal looking restaurant, high class looking bar. Very clean and well taken care of. BUT (here comes the rant) I didn't like anything else about this place. The bartender was cool, but the usual clientel was dissastrous. There were a couple huge bar flys that were haggling anyone who didn't buy coors light. I told them I couldn't stomach the stuff and they gave me the evil eye the whole time I was there. Another gripe is the inability to get a sampler tray, so you have to try like 1oz samples and then buy a pint pretty much. They had 3 casks which was good and some amazing full sail beers that can't be found in other places. The restaurant next door SUCKED! The food was ok tasting, but it was like $25 for a 5oz piece of fish with a tiny little side plate. I ended up going somewhere else later that night for food. My recommendation is to definately stay out of the restaurant and stay in the bar and get the happy hour deal. And the parking sucks here and the bartender gave me a free shot of bourbon. Good to get free stuff, but a shot of bourbon makes rating beers pretty damn hard, and it delays my trip home for another hour. *sigh*
