Two rooms, one with tons of tables, one with a looong bar. Flights include five 5 ounce pours for $12 and up, seems pricey to me. No food. Great staff, Camper took great care of me. Some staff were in kilts. Worth a stop.
Recommended if you live in or near the Raleigh-Durham area, or if youíre just passing through. Unpretentious interior is typical of a craft brewery, but the bar area makes it great. They serve only snacks, but you can get something to go from Motorco catty-corner from them. BTW, Motorco has some good grub. Their beers are fair to darned good, and all deserve at least a fair shake. You can get samplers, pints, cans, bombers or growlers; so take some home. Go full steam to Fullsteam!
02-27-2013 - A very, very friendly server named Trouble. Ten (10) Fullsteam beers and two guest beers available. For food there is only snacks available which I did not order. There is bar and picnic style seating. Live music, foosball, pinball and a gaming room. It was fairly busy at 5p.m. Try the Working Manís Lunch beer if it is available.
My first impression of this place was good, but the more I go here the more I dislike it. First of all there is no parking. Several of us parked at a nearby business and walked up. We might get towed.. but it was the only option. No air conditioning. This is ridiculous, I know AC is expensive.. but this is 2015 not the dark ages Get some freakin AC in this joint. The actual bar area is divided from the game room area, and it is tiny. The decor is very cool steampunkish. They only had a small handful of beers on tap, and they were out of a couple of them. No food on site, but there is a food truck outside at times. Most of the beer is so-so.. not the best. Service is OK most of the time. There are a lot of kids in here at times too.. not exactly bar like.
located in an old warehouse, production facility. Very cool place to hang out, picnic tables in & out. Busy younger hang out. 18/22 taps. some guest taps. grerat vibe, decent beer, a definite stop if in the area
Very fun, hipster style dumpy warehouse scene in a not-so-safe-feeling part of Durham in an industrial lot surround by tow yards. Parking on the street, but there is a ton of no parking/towing-enforced spots so donít just park anywhere because the tow lot is 5 feet from the brewery (not sure if they enforce it though). Food trucks outside. Inside is a giant warehouse with arcade games, tables, ping-pong; then there is a quarantined-off bar that is air-conditioned/heated unlike the warehouse Iím guessing. Their own beers on tap plus maybe 1 guest tap. Bottles, including bombers of their own beers. Quality is decent- the beers that sounded insanely awesome (sweet potato lager!?) failed to deliver. Some moderate brewing flaws in almost all of the beers, but nothing as severe as some of the Bull City beers. You can order 8oz or full pint pours of their beers. Donít thing you can do tasting flights, but I did not ask. Just didnít see that on the chalk board. Vibe is very cool. Enjoyed our time here.
