Had to get a beer in IL while I was here for about 90 mins. This is a small little restaurant/bar that was very packed when I visited. But then again the whole airport was. All they had here was Goose Island and other AB products. Prices were a little steep but it was worth it at the time! Staff weren't really knowledgeable and were on auto pilot. There were 7 beers to choose from. Fun fact: Traveling through O'Hare airport in Nov will get you the opportunity to get a free flu shot while you wait!
Was in the concourse C one, bu they’re probably the same. Quite pricy, unfriendly service, Bud as guest tap. Very small and just a few seats. I walked in, asked the bartender a question and decided against having a beer here.
Stopped in during layover. While i do feel airport rates are cheating this will have to hold me over until I do Chicago proper. Not great selection and the guest taps were you guessed it bud and bud light. Food was ok not big selection, servers kind of inattentive.
Pretty typical airport style bar. Fried airport food too it looked like. Modest GI selection, at least they had Matilda on tap, which is a step up from the average American airport tap. Had a few interesting bottles (’imperial series’) on the menu but of course they were out of all of them. I’m not impressed, but it is still a clear step up from everything else available in T3 at O’hare (almost autocorrected that to O’hate. That would also have been fair)
Stopped by on a lay over. Was glad to have a place like this for what turned out to be a 7 hour (instead of 3) wait. Got to try a couple of Goose Island varieties that are not available in my area. Yes, it was crowded and loud. Service was slow. Prices were Ok for an airport. Food was pretty good. Better than most other options at O’Hare in my opinion.
I have mixed feelings about this place. In general I’m glad that there is a brewpub in an airport, and a chance of having a Muddy or Sofie rather than a bud. But then again, this is so underwhelming for a bar bearing this name that it’s shocking. Nothing here that isn’t widely available. Prices are actually ok, for an airport, but expensive obviously. Came in and ended up only having a Honker’s ale because I hadn’t rated it before.
I wonder if I was in right place (Terminal 1)? This was more like sandwich and panini place. They didnt even have any taps, just 2 bottles (IPA and Honkers) available. I walked away when realising situation. Should be removed from ratebeer IMO. Disgrace for Goose Island.
