I have been to other bars of this chain but I never came across such poor beer in those as here! The IPA was anything but (possibly more hops in a bud!) And the Blonde Bock was like a home brew gone wrong... the worst beer on my visit to the USA! Staff would not leave us alone until they realised we were there just for drinks, then disappeared after depositing this rubbish on us, probably expecting us to send it back!
Visited while dropping a friend off at the airport. Like all Gordon Biersch locations itís actually a pretty nice place. Good looking decor, fancy tap set up, and (mostly) good service. The beers are better than people give them credit for, or at least the German ones are, the IPAs arent very good. The one non-standard (chain recipe) beer they had was a hoppy pils, which was kind of meh. The burger was good. Prices werenít bad on the beer but were fairly high on the food.
Stopped by here twice when I was in the area back in March of this year. Sat at the bar both times. A good oval-shaped bar with a good number of TVs nearby showing various sporting events. The standard offerings from GB were available, as well as a few seasonals. The service was pretty bad though. Both times we went, there was 1 person working the bar, and both times the bar was full (15-20 people). That seems disproportionate, but maybe thatís just me. We waited a good bit, even after trying to flag the guy down. Oh well, what it lacked it poor service, it made up for in quality beer. I really enjoyed the Schwarzbier especially, and wish they would bottle it. A cool place I would revisit, but they need to pick up the quality of service a bit.
I went to GB minutes after leaving BJís, and after that debacle this was a welcome treat.
Beer is all decent to good, nothing overwhelmingly great but nothing terrible.
Nice staff, mixed crowd.
I will go back even if not my favorite spot.
The food overshadows the beer, and even then itís nothing worth travelling to Burbank for but I guess if thatís where youíre stuck for the evening, then itíll due.

Good in a pinch. I mean, itís Burbank, am I right? And I would rather drink water than BJís, so GB it is! I wish they would do something limited run and actually try being a brewery for a change. Until then, itís got good (if all-too-cookie cutter) atmosphere and some good food.
I went on a late Friday night and they rushed us because they wanted to get out of there - so go earlier than the hours say. They start shutting things down about 11:45 to midnight. Annoying. Anyway, the place was nice, the server was friendly, the food was really good. I had the wings appetizer which had this Aisan glaze on it. The beers were ok - nothing to write about. And an update on the last rating. I asked for a free sample of all the beers and they quickly rejected me. instead, they offered me the traditional sampler tray. 6 for $5.50.
