Visited for lunch with a group on a Wednesday. Located on Montgomery Road, old corner brick building. Parking on street or in the lot on the side of the building. Very old school corner bar interior with high back booths, and tables spread throughout. Decent sized bar in the middle. Beer selection is a handful of local taps, and a fairly broad can and bottle selection. I doubt a local would find much of interest, but I saw a few interesting beers on offer. You don’t come to this place for the beer though, it’s definitely about the food. Burgers are enormous, and very tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. Overall, worth the visit for the food, with a beer list that covers the basics.
70 = ★★½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Never realized I hadn’t rated this place yet. Anyway, Gordo’s is a hole in the wall in Norwood, close to Xavier’s campus. They pride themselves on their burgers, which are very good. Good apps and sides, too; not healthy food but hits the spot sometimes. Good bottle and tap list - mostly bottles - and I seem to find something I haven’t had before every time I’ve been. Good mix of local and national crafts, with a nice balance of styles. Definitely worth a visit for burgers and beers before or after a Xavier game.
