Visited around 5.30 pm on Monday 25/11/13.
I actually managed to walk past this without spotting it at first, kind of a speakeasy look with large curtains at the front.
Long, thin and dark inside lit largely by candles around the bar, a pretty atmospehric joint all told.
It started to fill up around 5.45/6 and the bar area was soon crowded with locals.
20 + beers on tap and about 50 bottles. Decent enough selection, a few locals, 5 ticks for me on tap.
Not a go to destination but certainly worh stopping by if in the neighbourhood.
Big bar with lots of seating - wouldn’t really pin this place to have draft offerings based on the feel, but each time we’ve gone they’ve always had atleast a couple solid beers worth getting. Decent daft selection - usually some regional offerings (victory, troeggs, Ny stuff), some cool stouts (Goose Island BC, Founders KBS) and some belgian stuff as well. The food is decent, although I havent ordered anything year in the past year.
Nice high ceilings, small place wit mostly standing space and a few low tables, dark irish pub style furnishing, 23 beers on tap, 25 bottles including a few trappist beers. Very nice atmosphere, enjoyed being here
comfy bar with lots of room. always a good list of domestic and imported craft beers. they’re always adding/rotating new stuff. if i lived closer, i’d go there more often. good spot to meet up with people.
Cool spot, like an authentic Irish pub with a bit of an urban twist. Bartender was great, 20ish taps although more than a few were taken up by not very interesting macros (Stella?). Brunch waffle was ok. I don’t know if I’d make this place a big destination spot, but I’d love for it to be my local!
kind of crowded on a friday night. and i was also a tad WBW. puzzl bought me a hill farmstead everett here so this is a reminder that i owe him a beer. the pilsner urkel drank pretty good on tap. ghosts as well.
