A decent pub space on the water. The place was fairly busy when we stopped in and I expected slow service but even with that mindset I was disappointed in the time it took for each step to take place. Server was friendly and the place seemed well understaffed. A few Alaskan brews I hadn’t seen elsewhere, other than that normal micros, albeit good ones. A solid option for a pint before getting back on your cruise ship.
Wow wifi in the Yukon. A great beer selection. Servers work their ass off and know their beers. Food is excellent. You gotta stop here if you are in Juneau. If for nothing else the food beer and the wifi:) A rocking place
I first mistook The Flight Deck for The Hangar, as they are located next to one another, but was pointed out my error when I expressed a disappointment in the number of taps. The Hangar is a very popular waterfront restaurant with a surprisingly large number of taps, I counted around 30 (though some may have been ciders). A bit noisy because of the many visitors with children, but the view from the bar of seaplanes landing and taking off was impressive and the beers were served quickly so overall I had a nice time there. Been here a couple times, I guess I better say something.
Wow, what a crowded place in the sleepy part of tourist season in Juneau. My wife and I didn’t know we were supposed to have reservations the first time we went, so eventually we made it back on a Saturday night. Next time, I’ll take my 3 year old as he’ll fit it in with his loudness.
There was a pretty good selection of top notch Northwest brews.
The service was pretty good as busy as they were, my wife and I got our food in a pretty good amount of time.
The food was very good as I had this sesame citrus salmon which was absolutely awesome with a Stone IPA, boy oh boy that was exceptional.
The value, well, its downtown Juneau in the off season, so what does one expect? I will still be back.
Right on the water in Juneau. We watched pontoon planes take off while we were eating. Nice selection of local beers, mostly Alaskan Brewery. The food was excellent. The tempura fish & chips was great. Nice crispy tempura crust and moist taste halibut inside. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth the virews and being right on the water. Definetly worth a stop on the way back to the cruise ship if you make a stop in Juneau.
