I have been to the Aptos one a couple of times, and I think I have been here as well, I just forgot to review. They are very similar with a bit of a dark interior, counter service, picnic table seating, solid burgers and a pretty rocking taplist. This place is on a main drag in SC, but they have their own parking lot, which is pretty nice. Definitely a worthy stop when you are in the mood for a burger and a good beer.
Awesome burger joint right off Hwy 101, with an expansive selection of burgers (vegan-friendly, and with whole wheat and gluten-free bun options) that are really cheaply priced. Beer selection is extensive and very impressive - Bourbon County Stout happened to be on top on my visit. If traveling down from San Fran to visit Sante Adairius, this is a great stop for lunch/dinner.
Nice beer list and the food is pretty good. The employees have always been nice, if perhaps a bit hip and aloof. You gotta come in during off-hours to get fast service and easy seating. If you can’t park in the lot I suggest going around the block and parking on either Trescony or Laurent.
Stop #1 on the Santa Cruz tickstravaganza. Learn from my mistake: don’t bother trying to park in their lot. Just find somewhere on the street. You order at the appropriate counter for whatever you want, so that’s cool, I guess. Beer list is substantial and pretty eclectic, mostly good offerings. The thing that grinds my gears is that they list the beer name and style, but don’t tell you the brewery. So only losers like me will know what most/all the beers are. Service was SLOW and I wasn’t really thrilled about paying $7 for a beer, either. But, I guess I just had expensive taste. Cool place, definitely worth a stop.
Came across this place by accident today. Pretty nice tap list for sure but it’s a bit frustrating since they dont mention the brewery name, just the beer name (also style, abv, serving size, and price, but no brewery name). Wanted to get a glass of the Sierra Nevada Ch Ch Cherry Bomb but the line was pretty long.
You can get any food you want, just so long as it’s fries or a burger. Lots of options though. Again, wanted to eat but the line was way too long.
This is the place to go when you want a good burger. Damn, I wanna go back. Also a good selection of beers and nice staff.

This is a great place with a great beer selection and good burgers. Personally, I wish it were on the other side of town but I doubt it would work there. All in all, probably the best place in Santa Cruz to stop and grab food and a good beer.
Revising my rating lower as the beer selection is less impressive these days.
