This must be the most beatiful pub/brewpub we´ve ever visited (actually we paid three visits in different days, since we were hosted in Haarlem). Old church transformed into a brewpub. You can see medium size brewery kettles behind the bar, outer copper lined, and some steel tanks for their core beers to serve in place. However, most of their production takes place at their facilities in the outskirts of Harleem. 20 taps, mostly Jopen plus some collaborations and some other dutch micros. Interesting selection, 15 or 25cl pours, also a good range of bottles, around 50, mostly Jopen again. Nice food. Some seating outside, and upper level for bookings. Friendly staff if they are not busy, well worth a visit.
Probably the coolest brewpub I’ve been to in Europe. I had visited the old place in 2003 and they are incomparable. 20 Jopen taps and a good 30-40 bottles. Prices are reasonable, Maybe 3 on the lower end for the Gerstebier, and 5.50 for an Imperial Stout like Sin and Remorse. They also do smaller pours than 25cl, but that took a lot of explanation each time, and the prices with those seemed improvised. Visually stunning place, very modern. Lots of space, even though it was packed on Saturday night while I was there, DJ and all. Nice looking restaurant on the top floor, leaning a little more towards higher end than most brewpubs. Awesome place.
Located in the old church this brewpub offers unique interior. However the atmosphere didn’t seem that beer oriented, it had a bit corporate feel to it. Service was very good, was offered samples and got the recommendations. Selection is good, mostly Jopen beers which are good, but nothing too exciting. If in Haarlem worth checking out.
A spacious and nice brewpub in a former church. High ceilings and nice glass mosaic windows. Long and modern looking bar with brewing equipment easily visible. Many families were visiting this sunday, not many hard core beer drinkers at the bar. One exception, I worked my way through the tap list, focusing on Jopen’s hoppy beers. Aahh, tasty beers and super fresh! A small pour is 15 cl. The bar was well staffed but service varied from indifferent to really nice and talkative. The latter a young man who seemed to care about craft beer. (Visited November 20th 2016)
The place looks nice in a former church even if you can get more the modern feeling of a new brewpub than being in historical building.. Said that I’m not a big fan of jopen beers but here I had the chance to have some new ( for me ) beers so it’s a place that worth the visit indeed .. Mostly Jopen beers on tap and some guest by bottles .. Good place

Visited on a sunday morning, early midday. It was not very busy at that time. Beautiful modern interior. Normal tap selection with some pretty high prices.
The place has a unique ambiance. It is very special to be dining in an old church between the brewing kettles. The place is very crowded, however the deck were dinners is served is a little more quiet. The chart offers a wide selection of beers. However, some of the beers weren’t available. At least, that was what the waitress said. The following morning i went back to buy a glass and i saw the fridge filled with the beer wasn’t available. This is disappointing. Also the waitresses weren’t to fast with bringing the beers. The food however was served quickly and was very tasteful. The beers that were suggested fitted the dishes perfectly. All in all, it was a nice evening. The food was good, the beer was nice and the place itself is perfect. The service however fails on some points. This gives room for improvement.
