Good selection with much stored in the back part of the frig. Seemed to have all the latest brews. Got some good help. Unsure on the prices but some beers were on sale. Left a good impression.

Great selection here. I travel around the area looking for certain brews and this store tends to always deliver. It doesn’t like like much from the outside but you should check it out for sure.

Update - original rating a 54 - so in a little over a year, this place has transformed into a diamond in the rough for the Denver beer hunter - imports vastly improved - lots of Scandinavian brews and some lambics - quite a lot of limited release/hot beers that sell out fast other places sit on the shelves here (FiftyFifty, Funkwerks limited releases, Drei Font lambics, Russian River), and you don’t have to deal with the "secret handshake" or "tell me the secret code" bullshit that seems to be happening in so many stores these days - it’s all just sitting there - no bottle limits, either - service is nice, although not all know their beer - frequent sales on bombers and six packs - sometimes you can snatch up sixers of decent beer for as low as 4.99 - a nice little selection of reasonably priced glassware, too - ambience still blows, though ///////Strip mall liquor store in a not-so-nice part of town - dingy, poorly lit, basement-like, but not as bad as some places I have seen, so a 2 for ambiance rather than a 1 - a crap-ton of cooler space for macros and those weird malt beverage energy drink type things - some cooler space on the side for non-macros, much of which is taken up by six packs of obscure pale lagers from various parts of the globe, so if you’re looking to be the pale lager king of rate beer, perhaps you have found your place - sadly, their other imports are seriously lacking - Britain is represented solely by Sam Smith and Belgium almost entirely by Lindemans - they have th standard line up of local brews, plus the more prominent out of staters like Full Sail and Boulevard - a handful of single 750s from Bruery, Boulevard, etc. - the upside is that they had a bunch of Russian River brews that most places sell out of fast, probably because this place is mostly off the local beer radar - prices are average, with a few random bombers well below the average price - a couple things on sale for pretty cheap, like Fort Collins Wheat Wine for 3.99 - a few decent things, but their beer guy needs some schooling, especially to stop ordering all those pale lagers (they have a whole freaking stack of Belekin lager six packs!).

A surprising ammount of goodness can be found in this unassuming corner liquor store next to a Chinese restaurant and a King Soopers. There’s nothing particularly out of the oridinary, though you can find a whole slew of bombers from the bigger US craft breweries, including about 6 Russian River beers, but probably only because there is such a low-key profile about this place. Stuff runs out pretty slow. But they have pretty unbeatable sales now and again. I got a Unibroue Ephemere bomber for $3. Not the prettiest place to visit, and the craft beers take up all of about 3 doors of cooler space. But for decent prices, a predictable yet eccentric bomber selection, and a small mix-a-six selection, it really isnt too shabby. Way better than it appears on the surface.
